ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ, Հայաստան-Չեխիա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն ապրիլի 26-ին հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել Չեխիայի Հանրապետության խորհրդարանի Պատգամավորների պալատի Չեխիա-Հայաստան բարեկամության խմբի նախագահ Ռոբին Բյոհնիշի հետ:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ԱԺ փոխնախագահը բարձր է գնահատել Չեխիայի խորհրդարանի Պատգամավորների պալատի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող եւ դատապարտող բանաձեւի ընդունումը՝ նշելով, որ դա եւս մեկ քայլ է ցեղասպանությունների միջազգային ճանաչման ու դատապարտման գործում: Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն առանձնակի կարեւորել է բանաձեւի հեղինակ Ռոբին Բյոհնիշի ներդրումը փաստաթղթի ընդունման հարցում եւ իր երախտագիտությունն է հայտնել Չեխիայի խորհրդարանի բոլոր պատգամավորներին՝ նշելով. «Այդ քայլով Չեխիան վերահաստատեց իր հավատարմությունը ժողովրդավարական արժեքներին եւ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը: Ձեր այդ որոշումը եւս մեկ քայլ էր դեպի լույսի հաղթանակը խավարի նկատմամբ»:

Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում դատապարտել է Թուրքիայի ժխտողական քաղաքականությունը՝ հավելելով, որ Թուրքիան մինչ օրս չի փոխել իր ձեռագիրը. շարունակում է հերքել Հայոց ցեղասպանության փաստը եւ չի ցանկանում առերեսվել իր պատմության հետ:

«Ավելի քան 100 տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցած ծանրագույն հանցագործությունը վաղեմության ժամկետ չունի եւ այն ճանաչելու ու դատապարտելու շնորհիվ է հնարավոր կանխել մարդկության դեմ նոր ցեղասպանությունների իրագործումը»,-փաստել է ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:
