Վեցից մինչեւ 15 տարեկան ավելի քան 25 մլն երեխաներ, որոնք բնակվում են 22 երկրներում, դպրոցական պարապմունքների չեն հաճախում զինված հակամարտությունների պատճառով: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ապրիլի 24-ին այս տվյալները հրապարակել Է ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամը (ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ): 
«Վեցից մին չեւ 15 տարեկան ավելի քան 25 մլն երեխաներ, այսինքն՝ այդ տարիքային խմբի երեխաների 22 տոկոսը, դպրոց չի հաճախում հակամարտությունների ասպարեզի վերածված 22 երկրներում»,-ասել Է ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ի հաղորդագրության մեջ: 
Տարրական դասարաններ պարապմունքների հաճախելիության ամենավատ ցուցանիշը գրանցվել Է Հարավային Սուդանում, որտեղ դպրոցից դուրս Է մնում երեխաների 72 տոկոսը, իրադրությունը փոքր-ինչ ավելի լավ Է Չադում (50 տոկոս) եւ Աֆղանստանում (46 տոկոս): Այս երեք երկրներում նաեւ գրանցված Է դպրոց չհաճախող աղջիկների ամենաբարձր մակարդակը՝ համապատասխանաբար 76 տոկ ոս, 55 տոկոս եւ 53 տոկոս: Միջնակարգ դպրոցում պարապմունքների հաճախելիության ամենացածր ցուցանիշը գրանցվել Է Նիգերում (32 տոկոս), Հարավային Սուդանում (40 տոկոս) եւ Կենտրոնաֆրիկյան Հանրապետությունում (55 տոկոս):
«Կրթությունը երբեք այնքան մեծ կարեւորություն չունի, որքան պատերազմի ժամանակ»,-նշել Է ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ի կրթության հարցերի բաժնի ղեկավար Ջոզեֆին Բոռնը: «Առանց կրթության երեխաները չեն կարողանա բացահայտել իրենց ներուժը եւ ավանդ ներդնել իրենց ընտանիքների, համայնքների ու երկրների կայուն ապագայում»,-հավելել Է նա: 
Մինչդեռ ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ- ում տագնապ են հնչեցնում կրթական ծրագրերի ֆինանսավորման միջոցների անբավարարության կապակցությամբ: Մանկական հիմնադրամի տվյալներով, 2010 թվականից այդ նպատակով ծախսվել Է հումանիտար գործողությունների համար հատկացված գումարների 2 տոկոսից պակասը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
