 Թուրքիայի քրդամետ Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունը հայտարարություն է տարածել Հայոց ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցի առնչությամբ` նշելով, որ 1915 թվականին տեղի ունեցած ամոթն ու մարդկային ողբերգությունն իրենց սրտերում է:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտարարության մեջ ասվում է. «Էթնիկ ինքնության և հավատքի ծրագրավորված ցեղասպանությունից` Մեծ եղեռնից անցել է 102 տարի: 102 տարի առաջ` 1915 թվականի ապրիլի 24-ին «Իթթիհաթ վե թերաքի» («Միություն և առաջադիմություն») կուսակցության «Թեշքիլաթ ի մահսուսե» կազմակերպության կողմից երկու տասնյակից ավելի հայ մտավորականներին սեփական տներից պոկելով դեպի մահը ճանապարհելով սկսված գործընթացը շարունակվեց հարյուր հազարավոր հայերի աքսորով և շատերի սիստեմատիկ ոչնչացմամբ»:

Կուսակցությունը նշում է, որ հայերի դեմ իրականացված գործողությունների նպատակը միատարր պետություն ստեղծելն էր: «Ցավալի է, որ մեր աշխարհագրական տարածքն անապատացնող մեծ հանցագործությունների հետ առերեսվելու հարցում շատ ուշացանք: Աշխարհում եղած օրինակներից գիտենք, որ մարդկության դեմ հանցագործություններն անիծելը, ճշմարտության հետ առերեսվելը, ճնշված ժողովուրդներից և հավատացյալներից ներողություն խնդրելը, վերանորոգող արդարության ուղիներին դիմելը, մեկը մյուսին հասկանալը և վերքերն անկեղծորեն դարմանելը ծայրաստիճան կարևոր քայլեր են խղճի և արդարության զգացումն արթնացնելու համար: Ցավերը կիսելը համատեղ մտածելու, ժողովրդավարական, խաղաղ և հավասար ապագան միասին կառուցել կարողանալու կարևոր բաղադրիչն է:

Որպես Անատոլիայի հնագույն ժողովուրդների թոռներ` 102 տարվա ցավերը կիսում ենք, տեղի ունեցած ամոթը և մարդկային ողբերգությունը մեր սրտի խորքում են: Եվս մեկ անգամ վշտով և հարգանքով հիշում ենք այդ ընթացքում զոհվածներին»,- ասվում է հայտարարության եզրափակիչ մասում:
