Ազնավուրների ընտանիքի անունից Հայոց ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ Հայաստանում է և Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիրում հարգանքի տուրք մատուցեց աշխարհահռչակ երգիչ Շառլ Ազնավուրի որդին՝ Նիկոլա Ազնավուրը: «Առաջին անգամ չէ, որ Հայաստանում եմ, այստեղ եղել եմ 2015թ. իմ հոր հետ: Եկել եմ Ազնավուրների ընտանիքի անունից, իմ ներկայությունն այստեղ շատ կարևոր է իմ ընտանիքի համար: Իմ այցելության գլխավոր ուղե րձն այն է, որ ցույց տանք հաջորդ սերնդին, որ պետք է միշտ այստեղ լինի, մենք պետք է աջակցենք, որ Հայաստանը լինի ուժեղ և միասնական, դրա համար եմ այսօր այստեղ»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Ազնավուրը՝ նշելով, որ հայրը չի կարողացել գալ ու մասնակցել հիշատակի արարողությանը, սակայն իր ընտանիքի բոլոր անդամները մտքերով հայ ժողովրդի հետ են:

Ապրիլի 24-ին աշխարհասփյուռ հայությունը նշում է Հայոց ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցը: Հայ ժողովուրդը, երկրի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներն ու Հայաստան ժամանած հյուրերը ապրիլի 24-ին Ծիծեռնակաբերդի բարձունքում են՝ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին:Օսմանյան կառավարության կողմից իրականացված Հայոց ցեղասպանության փաստը հիմնավորվել է, ճանաչվել ու հաստատել ականատեսների վկայություններով, օրեքներով, բանաձեւերով եւ բազմաթիվ նահանգների ու միջազգային կազմակերպությունների որոշումներով: 1915թ. Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հայ բնակչության մասայական կոտորածները որպես նախապես ծրագրավորված ու ամբողջությամբ իրագործված ցեղասպանական ակտ որակող փաստաթղթերի ամբողջական շարքը հսկայական է: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ընդունել են այնպիսի կազմակերպություններ, ինչպիսիք են Եվրոպայի Խորհուրդը, Եվրախորհրդարանը, ՄԱԿ-ի մի քանի հանձնաժողովներ, Եկեղեցիների համաշխարհային միությունը, ՄԵՐԿՈՍՈւՐ-ի խորհրդարանը եւ այլն: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչել են շատ պետություններ. առաջինը պաշտոնապես ընդունել է Ուրուգվայը 1965 թ.: Հայ ժողովրդի կոտորածը պաշտոնապես դատապարտել եւ ճանաչել են որպես ցեղասպանություն` ըստ միջազգային իրավունքի, հետեւյ ալ երկրները` Ֆրանսիա, Իտալիա, Բելգիա, Նիդեռլանդներ, Շվեյցարիա, Շվեդիա, Ռուսաստան, Լեհաստան, Լիտվա, Հունաստան, Սլովակիա, Կիպրոս, Լիբանան, Ուրուգվայ, Արգենտինա (2 օրենք, 5 բանաձեւ), Վենեսուելա, Չիլի, Բոլիվիա, Կանադա, Վատիկան, Ավստրիա, Լյուքսեմբուրգ, Գերմանիա, Ավստրալիայի Նոր Հարավային Ուելս նահանգը, ԱՄՆ 45 նահանգներ:
