Նորվեգիան ծրագրում է ստորջրյա թունել կառուցել՝ երկրի ամենախոր և ամենամեծ ծովածոցի՝ Սոգնեֆիորդի երկու ափերին գտնվող քաղաքները միացնելու համար: Թունելը կարժենա 25 մլրդ եվրո:
Տեղի լանդշաֆտն այնպիսին է, որ հնարավոր չէ կամուրջ կառուցել, այդ պատճառով էլ թունելը կկառուցվի լողացող կամրջի վրա: Դա թույլ կտա, որ նավերը անցնեն թունելի վրայով:
Ծրագրվում է թունելի շինարարությունը ավարտել 2035թ:
