Սպառնալիքի դեպքում ԱՄՆ-ն Էստոնիայի կողքին կլինի: Էստոնիայի վարչապետ Յուրի Ռատասի հետ համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսում այս մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի ներկայացուցիչների պալատի խոսնակ Փոլ Ռայանը:

Նա նշել է Էստոնիայի ոգեշնչող հաջողությունների մասին եւ հաստատել, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները բարձր է գնահատում երկրի պատմությունը, ազատությունը, անկախությունն ու մշակույթը:

Ըստ ERR-ի՝ Ռայանը նշել է. «Մեր առաջին ուղերձն այն է, որ մեր երկկողմ հարաբերություններն ամուր են եւ ավելի են ամրապնդվելու»:

Ռայանի խոսքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ն հստակորեն սատարում է ՆԱՏՕ-ի բլոկը: Նա նաեւ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Էստոնիային այն բանի համար, որ նա կատարում է ՆԱՏՕ-ի շրջանակում իր պարտավորությունները եւ ՀՆԱ-ի 2%-ը հատկացնում պաշտպանությանն ու ներդրում կատարում կիբերպաշտպանության ոլորտում:

Նա խոստացել է, որ սպառնալիքների դեպքում, որոնք գալիս են նաեւ արեւելքից, ամերիկացիներն Էստոնիայի կողքին կլինեն:
