Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունները կանխելու քայլ է

Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման, պահանջատիրության գործընթացը նույն ակտիվությամբ շարունակվում է: Ինչպես լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նշեց ԱՄՆ հայկական համագումարի տարածաշրջանային տնօրեն Արփի Վարդանյանը, շատերը վախենում էին, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցից հետո ակտիվությունը կպակասի, սակայն այդպես չեղավ:
«Այսօր մենք տեսնում ենք, թե Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին պատմող «Խոստումը» ֆիլմը ինչ մեծ արձագանք է ստանում: Այս ֆիլմին սպասում են ոչ միայն հայերը, այլև բազմաթիվ արտասահմանցիներ: Լուրջ գովազդային արշավ իրականացվեց, հռչակավոր դեմքերի հարցազրույցները շրջանառվեցին, սոցիալական ցանցերում մեծ արձագանք եղավ: Աշխատանքները պետք է շարունակվեն, որ հասարակության ավելի լայն շերտերի հասցվի հայկական հարցը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ`ասաց Արփի Վարդանյանը:
Այսօր աշխարհի 20-ից ավելի երկիր ճանաչել է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: ԱՄՆ-ում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչած նահանգների թիվը հասել է 45-ի: Արփի Վարդանյանը նշեց, որ այդ աշխատանքը շարունակվում է:
«Նախորդ տարիներին իրականացված աշխատանքը ցույց տվեց, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցը դարձել է մարդկության համար կարևոր: ԱՄՆ-ում այն դարձել է օրակարգային խնդիր, բոլորը դա գիտեն, պահանջում են, որ պետության կողմից ճանաչվի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Բոլորս պարտավոր ենք փորձել գտնել նոր ձևեր, որ այս հարցը կարողանանք հասցնել շատերին: Պետք է տեղ հասնի այն միտքը, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը քաղաքականության խնդիր չէ: Անհրաժեշտ է հասկանալ, որ որքան էլ դժվար լինի, միևնույն է, այն պետք է ճանաչվի: Դա համամարդկային խնդիր է, մարդկության դեմ հանագործությունները կանխելու քայլ է: Այս հարցը միշտ պետք է մնա մեր օրակարգում, պատմությունը չպետք է մոռացվի»,-ասաց Արփի Վարդանյանը:
Ինչ վերաբերում է իրականացվող ջանքերի բավարար լինելուն, ապա Արփի Վարդանյանը նշեց, որ դրանք երբեք էլ բավարար չեն, միշտ անելու բան կա: Ըստ նրա` այն, ինչ անում է թուրքական լոբբին, միշտ պետք է հայերին հիշեցնի ավելի լավ աշխատելու մասին:
