 Forbes հանդեսը երկրորդ տարին անընդմեջ Ռուսաստանի ամենահարուստ բիզնեսմեն Է ճանաչել Լեոնիդ Միխելսոնին՝ երկրում գազ արդյունահանող խոշորագույն մասնավոր ընկերության՝ «Նովատեկ»-ի համասեփականատիրոջը: Հրատարակությունը նրա կարողությունը 2017 թվականի դրությամբ գնահատել Է 18,4 մլրդ դոլար, ինչը 4 միլիարդով ավելի Է, քան 2016 թվականին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը: 
Հրատարակության թվով 14-րդ համանման վարկանիշում երկրորդ տեղն զբաղեցրել Է «Սեւերստալ»-ի սեփականատեր Ալեքսեյ Մորդաշովը, որի կարողությունը գնահատվել Է 17,5 մլրդ դոլար: Նրան 16,1 մլրդ դոլար կարողությամբ հաջորդում Է Նովոլիպեցկի մետալուրգիական կոմբինատի (ՆԼՄԿ) սեփականատեր Վլադիմիր Լիսինը: 
Կարողության ծավալով չորրորդ տեղը 16 մլրդ դոլարով զբաղեցրել Է Գենադի Տիմչենկոն («Նովատեկ», «Ստրոյտրանսգազ», «Տրանսօյլ», ՍԻԲՈՒՐ եւ այլն), հինգերորդ տեղում 15,2 մլրդ դոլարով Ալիշեր Ուսմանովն Է, որի ակտիվները ներառում են «Մետալոինվեստը»-ը, Mail.ru Group-ը, «ՄԵգաֆոն»-ը, ՅՈւՈՎ Հոլդինգը եւ ՍՏՍ Մեդիան: Վարկանիշի վեցրորդ հորիզոնականում տեղ Է գտել ԼՈւԿՕՅԼ-ի համասեփականատեր Վագիթ Ալեքպերովը (14,5 մլրդ դոլար): 
Ռուսաստանի ամենահարուստ բիզնեսմենների տասնյակում նաեւ տեղ են գտել Միխայիլ Ֆրիդմանը՝ 14,4 մլրդ դոլար կարողությամբ («Ալֆա-բանկ», Vimpelcom, X5 Retail Group), Վադիմ Պոտանինը՝ 14,3 մլրդ դոլարով («Նորնիկել»), Անդրեյ Մելնիչենկոն՝ 13,2 մլրդ դոլարով («Եվրոխիմ», ՍՈւԷԿ) եւ 12,4 մլրդ դոլար կարողությամբ Վիկտոր Վեկսելբերգը («Ռուսալ»): 
Forbes-ը նշում Է, որ երկրի 200 ամենահարուստ բիզնեսմենների միագումար կարողությունը տարվա ընթացքում աճել Է 100 մլրդ դոլարով՝ հասնելով 460 մլրդ դոլարի, իսկ դոլարային միլիարդատերերի թիվը 77-ից հասել Է 96-ի: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ «մուտքի տոմսը»՝ նվազագույն կարողությունը, որն անհրաժեշտ Է այդ հեղինակավոր վարկանիշում հայտնվելու համար, անցյալ տարվա 350 մլն դոլարից բարձրացել Է մինչեւ 500 մլն դոլար, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
