Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցում մեղավորներին պատասխանատվության չենթարկելը պատճառ դարձավ դրան հաջորդող տարիներին տեղի ունեցած նոր ցեղասպանությունների: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին Page Six-ի հետ զրույցում ասել է օսկարակիր դերասան, Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին հոլիվուդյան «Խոստումը» ֆիլմի գլխավոր դերակատար Քրիստիան Բեյլը:
«Այս ֆիլմն իր մեջ ինչ-որ կարևոր բան է պարունակում, ինչի պատճառով շատ մարդիկ փորձել են խափանել դրա նկարահանումը»,- «Խոստումը» ֆիլմի մասին ասել է Բեյլը:
Խոսելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին` դերասանն ընդգծել է. «Մեկ ու կես միլիոն մարդ սպանվեց ամենակատաղի ձևով, ես ոչինչ չգիտեի դրա մասին: Դա անհավատալի կերպով տարօրինակ է: Սա ժամանակակից պատմություն է... Փաստը, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը տեղի է ունեցել և ոչ ոք դրա համար պատասխանատվություն չի կրել, դրանից հետո նոր ցեղասպանությունների պատճառ դարձավ»:
«Խոստումը» ֆիլմի համաշխարհային պրեմիերան տեղի կունենա ապրիլի 21-ին: Հայաստանի կինոթատրոններում ֆիլմը կցուցադրվի ապրիլի 27-ից:
Համացանցում ֆիլմի պրոդյուսերները սկսել են #պահիրխոստումը (#keepthepromise) արշավը, որի միջոցով ֆիլմին իրենց աջակցությունն են հայտնել երաժիշտ Էլթոն Ջոնը, դերասան Սիլվեստր Ստալոնեն, երգչուհի Շերը, Բարբարա Սթրեյզանդը, Քիմ Քարդաշյանը, Ալեքսիս Օհանյանը, թենիսիստ Անդրե Աղասին, դերասաններ Լեոնարդո ԴիԿապրիոն, Ռայան Գոսլինգը, Դին Քեյնը և Օուեն Ուիլսոնը, բասկետբոլիստ Լուոլ Դենգը և այլոք:
«Խոստումը» ֆիլﬕ նկարահանման ծախսերը հոգացել է աﬔրիկահայ գործարար, ﬕլիարդատեր Քըրք Քըրքորյանը, ինչի մասին հայտնի է դարձել նրա մահվան օրը: Ֆիլմի դերակատարներից Մայքլը հաﬔստ հայ դեղագործ է, ով թողել է իր գյուղն ու գնացել Կոստանդնուպոլիս` ուսուﬓասիրելու բժշկություն: Քրիսը աﬔրիկացի ֆոտոլրագրող է, ով եկել է այդ երկիր, որպեսզի մասնակիորեն լուսաբանի աշխարհաքաղաքական հարցեր, և հարաբերությունների ﬔջ է տաղանդավոր Անայի հետ` Փարիզում սովորած հայ նկարչուհի: Երբ Մայքլը հանդիպում է Անային, նրանց ընդհանուր ժառանգական հիշողությունը կայծ է առաջացնում ու Անան դառնում է մրցակցության պատճառ երկու տղամարդկանց ﬕջև: Երբ թուրքերն Առաջին աշխարհամարտի ժամանակ ﬕանում են գերմանացիներին ու դաժանաբար ոչնչացնում Օսմանյան < i>կայսրության սահմաններում ապրող փոքրամասնություններին, չնայած առկա կոնֆլիկտին` յուրաքանչյուրը պետք է ելք փնտրի փրկվելու համար:
