Ամերիկահայությունը տեղեկություն չունի Հայոց ցեղասպանության առնչությամբ Թրամփի դիրքորոշման մասին

Հայոց ցեղասպանության տարելիցի օրը` ապրիլի 24-ին, հիշատակի միջոցառումներ են նախատեսվում ԱՄՆ-ի մի շարք քաղաքներում: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց «Կալիֆորնիա Կուրիեր» թերթի հրատարակիչ և խմբագիր Հարութ Սասունյանը, գլխավոր միջոցառումները տեղի են ունենալու Նյու Յորքում և Լոս Անջելեսում: Երկու խոշոր քաղաքներում կայանալիք ոգեկոչման միջոցառ ումներին մասնակցելու են հազարավոր մարդիկ, այդ թվում՝ կոնգրեսականներ և սենատորներ:
«Հայ համայնքի կոչերի գլխավոր ուղերձը լինելու է արդարության համապարփակ պահանջը, այսինքն` մեր բոլոր ազգային իրավունքների վերականգնում ու կորուստների վերադարձ կամ հատուցում»,-ասաց Հարութ Սասունյանը:
ԱՄՆ բազմաթիվ կոնգրեսականներ նամակ են ուղղել նախագահ Թրամփին՝ ճանաչելու Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Ի՞նչ ակնկալիքներ կան այս համատեքստում: Հարցին ի պատասխան Հարութ Սասունյանը նշեց, որ ոչ մի ակնկալիք էլ չկա:
«Նախագահին ուղղված կոնգրեսականների նամակի հետ կապված ոչ մի ակնկալիք էլ չկա: Ամերիկայի հայությունը ոչ մի տեղեկություն չունի, թե նախագահ Թրամփը ինչ կարծիք կամ դիրքորոշում, նույնիսկ տեղեկություն ունի՞ հայկական որևէ հարցի մասին»,-հավելեց Հարութ Սասունյանը:
Անդրադառնալով պահանջատիրության աշխատանքներին, Հարութ Սասունյանը նշեց, որ դրանք ընթանում են շատ դանդաղ և անկազմակերպ: Միակ նորությունը Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսարանի հայցն է ընդդեմ Թուրքիայի` կապված Սիսի կաթողիկոսարանի կալվածքի վերադարձի հետ:
«Ինչպես տեսնում ենք, Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից տարիներ անց Թուրքիան շարունակում է ժխտողականությունը: Պետք է ներկայացնել թուրքական ժխտողականությունն այդ երկրի ավտորիտար երկիր լինելու համատեքստում, որպեսզի բոլորն իմանան, որ Թուրքիայում բռնապետական ռեժիմ է, այն անհանդուրժող և ոչ դեմոկրատ երկիր է ընդհանրապես բոլոր հարցերի հետ կապված, ոչ միայն Հայոց ցեղասպանության»,-ասաց նա:
