 Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի թեկնածու Մարին Լը Պենը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցում ցանկալի է համարում այն լուծումը, որը հնարավորություն կտա Ղարաբաղին վերամիավորվել Հայաստանի հետ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, նման համոզմունք Լը Պենը հայտնել է Nouvelles d'Armenie-ին տված հարցազրույցում:

«ԽՍՀՄ փլուզումից հետո վարչական սահմաններն արագորեն և առանց վերաիմաստավորման դարձան միջազգային սահմաններ, սակայն, անկախությունից առավել ցանկալի կլիներ, որ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը հասնեին այնպիսի համաձայնության, որը թույլ կտար Լեռնային Ղարաբաղին վերամիավորվել Հայաստանի հետ»,- նշել է «Ազգային ճակատի» առաջնորդը:

Լը Պենը կարծում է նաև, որ Ֆրանսիան պետք է շարունակի մի շարք երկրների հետ առանձնաշնորհյալ հարաբերություններ ունենալ՝ հաշվի առնելով նաև տարբեր երկրների հետ ունեցած պատմական կապերը: «Մերձավոր Արևելքում Ֆրանսիան պետք է վերագտնի իր առաջնակարգ դերը, մասնավորապես որպես Արևելքի քրիստոնյաների պաշտպան, ինչպիսին նաև եղել է դեռևս Ֆրանսուա I-ի օրերից, սակայն այդ դերն արհամարհվել է վերջին տասնամյակներին»,- ընդգծել է Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ թեկնածուն:

Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի ընտրություններն անցկացվելու են 2017 թվականի ապրիլի 23-ին: Եթե թեկնածուներից որևէ մեկը չստանա ձայների կեսից ավելին, ապա երկրորդ փուլը կանցկացվի մայիսի 7-ին: Ներկայումս ընտրարշավի առաջատար թեկնածուներն են Հանրապետականների կողմից առաջադրված Ֆրանսուա Ֆիյոնը, «Ազգային ճակատի» առաջնորդ Մարին Լը Պենը, Ֆրանսիայի էկոնոմիկայի նախկին նախարար Էմանուել Մակրոնը, Սոցիալիստական կուսակցության թեկնածու Բենուա Ամոնը և Կոմունիստական կուսակցության ու մի շարք այլ ձախ ուժերի աջակցությունը վայելող Ժան-Լյուկ Մելանշոնը:
