Ջոն Թերին հեռանում է «Չելսի»-ից

Լոնդոնի «Չելսի»-ի երկարամյա ավագ, Անգլիայի ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականի նախկին պաշտպան Ջոն Թերին ընթացիկ մրցաշրջանի ավարտից հետո կլքի լոնդոնյան ակումբը: Այս մասին հայտնում է «Չելսի»-ի պաշտոնական կայքը:
Ակումբը Ջոն Թերիի հեռանալու կապակցությամբ հայտարարություն է տարածել` շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ֆուտբոլիստին համատեղ երկարամյա աշխատանքի և նվիրվածության համար: ««Սթեմֆորդ Բրիջ»-ում բոլորը ցանկանում են խորին շնորհակալություն հայտնել Ջոնին: Նրան հաջողություն ենք մաղթում: Ջոնը երկու տասնամյակից ավելի հավատարմորեն նվիրվել է մեր ակումբին: Նա հպարտորեն կրել է մեր թիմի մարզաշապիկը: Թերին 1998 թվականին իր նորամուտից հետո «Չելսի»-ի կազմում 713 խաղ է անցկացրել ու 66 գոլ խփել: Այդ 713-ից 578 հանդիպումներում նա մեր թիմի ավագն է եղել: Այ ս մրցաշրջանում նա խաղադաշտում քիչ է հայտնվել, սակայն մնացել է թիմի ազդեցիկ ու ոգեշնչող անդամը»,- ասված է ակումբի տարածած հայտարարության մեջ:
Ջոն Թերին «Չելսի»-ի հետ 4 անգամ դարձել է Անգլիայի առաջնության չեմպիոն, իսկ 2012թ. ակումբի հետ նվաճել է Չեմպիոնների լիգայի գավաթը: Ընդհանուր առմամբ Ջոն Թերին «Չելսի»-ի հետ 16 տիտղոս է նվաճել: Նա երկար տարիներ «Չելսի»-ի ու Անգլիայի ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականի ավագն է եղել:
