«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է.

«Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Աբրահամյանը նախօրեին տոնել է իր 60 ամյակը: Աբրահամյանի ծննդյան տոնակատարությանը  ներկա են եղել նաեւ ռուսական էլիտայի մի շարք ներկայացուցիչներ, այդ թվում ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը, ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Պեսկովը: Վերջինս Աբրահամյանին մաղթել է, որ նա վերջապես ռուսերեն սովորի: Ռուսաստանի Լիբերալ-դեմոկրատական կուսակցության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Ժիրինովսկին էլ ցանկացել է, որ Աբրահամյանի հաջորդ հոբելյանի ժամանակ Արցախը ճանաչված լինի բոլոր երկրների կողմից, իսկ հայերը վերադարձրած լինեն Արարատը: 

Ստորեւ ներկայացնում ենք մեր զրույցը Արա Աբրահամյանի հետ.

Պուտինի մամուլի խոսնակ Պեսկովը ձեզ մաղթել է, որ ռուսերեն խոսել սովորեք վերջապես: Պատրաստվո՞ւմ եք հետեւել այդ մաղթանք-խորհրդին:

Անպայման: Ես բոլոր-բոլոր մաղթանքները հաշվի կառնեմ եւ կուղղեմ:

Բայց դուք ռուսերեն որոշ չափով գիտեք, չէ՞:

Որտեղի՞ց գիտեմ, որ իմանամ, չեն ասի սովորի, էլի:

Չե՞ք ուզել սովորել, թե՞ չի ստացվել:

Ես սովորում եմ, այնպես չի, որ չեմ սովորում: Գիտե՞ք ինչ կա, ամեն մեկն իր ընդունակություններն ունի, իմ ընդունակությունը այդքան բավարար չի, որ կարողանամ 60 տարվա ընթացքում սովորեմ: Ինձ թվում ա ապագա կա, երեւի առաջիկա տասնամյակներում կսովորեմ էլի, ես շա՞տ գիտեմ: Կարող է ստացվի, կարող է՝ չէ: Վստահ չեմ:

ՌԴ-ում ապրում եք, այդքան շփվում, դժվա՞ր լեզու է:

Դե չգիտեմ, իմ համար շատ դժվար է: Ինձ համար լեզուները դժվար են:

Հայերենից բացի ուրիշ լեզու գիտե՞ք:

Իհարկե գիտեմ, ինձ համար բոլոր լեզուները հավասար են, ռուսերենի նման: Անգլերեն էլ գիտեմ այնքան, ինչքան ռուսերեն:

Այնքան, ինչքան բավարար է շփվելու համար:

Մի կերպ շփվելու համար:

Ժիրինովսկու մաղթանքն էլ էր շատ հետաքրքիր. Ուրի՞շ ինչ հետաքրքիր շնորհավորանքներ եք ստացել:

Չեմ հիշում: Այդքանը ո՞նց հիշեմ: Մեկն ասեց ռուսերեն սովորի, ես ասացի կսովորեմ, մյուսն էլ ասաց Ղարաբաղը մերը լինի՝ ես պիտի աշխատեմ այդ բոլոր ուղղություններով, բա ո՞նց: Ինչքան կստացվի՝ ժամանակը ցույց կտա:

Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ քաղաքական թեմայով զրույց հասցրի՞ք ունենալ:

Ինձ չի թվում, որ ծննդյան արարողությունը հարմար տեղ էր քաղաքական լուրջ թեմաներ քննարկելու համար:

Իհարկե ունեմ: Այս պահին չեմ կարող ասել: Կամաց-կամաց կիմանաք: Ծնունդս նոր ենք արել, լավ տրամադրություն է: Ծննդյանս օրվա արարողությանը մասնակցածներից բոլորի ասածը որ անեմ, արդեն բավական է:

Ինչքա՞ն գումար եք ծախսել:

Անկեղծ որ ասեմ՝ ռեստորանը անվճար է եղել, բոլոր երգիչներն էլ որ երգել են՝ նվեր են արել: Բոլոր գումարները, որ պետք է ծախսեի՝ տրամադրելու եմ բարեգործական նպատակների»:
