Թուրքիայում Անկարայի նահանգի Սթանոզ շրջանում գտնվող հին հայկական գերեզմանատունը շարունակում է ենթարկվել ազգայնականների ու գանձագողերի հարձակումներին:

Այս մասին հայտնում է «Ակօսը»:

Ավելի վաղ այդ մասին ահազանգել էր նաև Թուրքիայի Ժողովրդադեմոկրատական կուսակցության կենտրոնական գործադիր խորհրդի հայազգի անդամ Մուրադ Մըհչըն: 

Կան փաստեր, որոնց համաձայն որոշ գերեզմանաքարեր հեռացվել են տարածքից հենց շրջկենտրոնի ղեկավարության անմիջական միջամտությամբ:

Հայտնի է, որ գերեզմանատան տարածքը պատկանում է «Սուրբ Փրկիչ և Քառսուն մանուկ» հիմնադրամին:




Անկարա քաղաքից 30 կմ հեռավորության վրա գտնվող Սթանոզ (այն անվանում են նաև Զիր) ավանի բնակչությունն Առաջին համաշխարհայինից առաջ ամբողջովին բաղկացած է եղել հայերից, Սթանոզի բնակչության թվաքանակը 20-րդ դարի սկզբին կազմում էր 3.142 (668 ընտանիք): Ինչպես և Անկարայի հայության մեծ մասը, Սթանոզի հայերն էլ այստեղ են գաղթել Կիլիկիայից, 15-րդ դարում:  Ըստ որոշ տվյալների՝ հայ գաղթականների ևս մի մեծ խումբ այստեղ է հաստատվել 17-րդ դարում՝ Արևելյան Հայաստանից:

Սթանոզում գործել է երկու հայկական բողոքական եկեղեցի` Սուրբ Փրկիչ և Քառսուն մանուկ: Սթանոզի հայերն ունեին նաև երկու կրթական հաստատություն, որտեղ, ընդհանուր առմամբ, կար 500 հայ աշակերտ: Այս շրջանում հայերի հիմնական զբաղմունքն արհեստներն էին, այգեգործությունն ու անասնապահությունը: Սթանոզում մեծ հռչակ էին վայելում հայ կաշվեգործները, գորգագործները, ներկարարները և մետաքսի արտադրությամբ զբաղվողները:
