Վիետնամում ՀՀ դեսպան Ռաիսա Վարդանյանն ապրիլի 14-ին այցելեց Բարիա-Վունգտաու քաղաք, որտեղ հանդիպումներ ունեցավ քաղաքային կոմիտեի նախագահի տեղակալ, քաղաքապետ Նգույեն Թան Լոնգի հետ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Հանդիպմանը քննարկվեցին Հայաստանի շրջաններից մեկի և Բարիա-Վունգտաու քաղաքի միջև համագործակցության հուշագրի ստորագրման հարցերը, ինչպես նաև երկկողմ ներդրումների և համատեղ ծրագրերի հեռանկարները՝ զբոսաշրջության, բեռնափոխադրումների, գյուղատնտեսության, տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների, թեթև արդյունաբերության և առողջապահության ոլորտներում:
Դեսպան Վարդանյանն ընդգծեց Հայաստանի և Վիետնամի միջև առևտրաշրջանառության ավելացման, համատեղ ձեռնարկությունների ստեղծման և փոքր ու միջին ձեռնարկությունների համագործակցության խթանման կարևորությունը և ներկայացրեց դրանց շուրջ իր առաջարկությունները:

Քաղաքապետ Թան Լոնգն իր հերթին ներկայացրեց քաղաքի տնտեսական հնարավորություններն ու առկա ներուժը, ինչպես նաև պատրաստակամություն հայտնեց աջակցել նշված ծրագրերի իրագործմանը:

Բարիա-Վունգտաուն Վիետնամի ամենախոշոր նավահանգիստներից է և ունի 1.1 միլիոն բնակչություն: Քաղաքը հանդիսանում է Վիետնամի արագ զարգացող տնտեսական և զբոսաշրջային կենտրոններից մեկը, որտեղ տեղակայված են արդյունաբերական և լոգիստիկ ազատ գոտիներ:
