ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Ոստիկանության օրվա առթիվ: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ուղերձում նշվում է.

«Ոստիկանության հարգելի՛ ծառայողներ և վետերաններ,

Սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ ձեզ մասնագիտական տոնի՝ Ոստիկանության օրվա կապակցությամբ:
Ձեզ է վստահված Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացու անվտանգության և իրավունքների պաշտպանության, երկրում հասարակական կարգի և օրինապահության ամրապնդման կարևորագույն ոլորտը, և դուք արժանապատվորեն եք իրականացնում ձեր առաքելությունը:
Ոստիկանության գործունեության բնագավառում իրականացվող արմատական բարեփոխումները, տեխնիկական վերազինումը, ոստիկանության ծառայողների սոցիալական պայմանների բարելավումը, ոստիկանություն-հասարակություն կապի ամրապնդում ը տվել են սպասված արդյունքները: Այսօր ունենք կայացած և ամուր պետական կառույց, որը հուսալի գործընկեր է օտարերկրյա իրավապահ մարմինների համար և կարող է կատարել իր առջև դրված ամենաբարդ խնդիրները, և որին վստահությամբ է վերաբերվում մեր քաղաքացին:
Այս ամենի վկայությունն էին ոստիկանության գործողությունները անցյալ տարվա դրամատիկ իրադարձությունների ընթացքում, երբ ոստիկանները, անգամ ինքնազոհության գնով, լիարժեքորեն կատարեցին իրենց ծառայողական պարտականությունները:
Վկայությունն էր նաև ոստիկանության աշխատանքը Ազգային ժողովի ընտրությունների քարոզարշավի և բուն քվեարկության օրվա ընթացքում:
Ծառայողական գործունեության այս մակարդակը վկայում է ոստիկանության ոչ միայն մասնագիտական ու գործառնական, այլև բարոյահոգեբանական բարձր պատրաստվածության մասին: 
Միաժամանակ, ոստիկանությունը շարունակելու է մնալ հանրության մշտարթուն ուշադրության կենտրոնում, իսկ ցանկացած թերացում, վրիպում, առավել ևս՝ օրինախախտում, կարող է ի չիք դարձնել ոստիկանության արդիականացմանն ուղղված ջանքերի արդյունքները: Համոզված եմ, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ոստիկանությունն առաջին հերթին ինքն Õ § անհանդուրժող լինելու ցանկացած նման երևույթի հանդեպ, ինչպես որ հետևողական է բարեփոխումների գործընթացը ցանկալի ավարտին հասցնելու գործում:
Կրկին շնորհավորելով մասնագիտական տոնի առթիվ՝ մաղթում եմ ձեզ քաջառողջություն և աշխատանքային նոր ձեռքբերումներ՝ հանուն Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և մեր ժողովրդի անվտանգության ու առաջընթացի»:
