 Գրող, թարգմանիչ, սցենարիստ, դրամատուրգ Ռուբեն Հովսեփյանի հիշատակին նվիրված հուշ-ցերեկույթը և «Նորք» ամսագրի ընթացիկ տարվա առաջին համարի շնորհանդեսն անցկացվեցին ապրիլի 12-ին` Հայաստանի գրողների միությունում: Ամսագրի հերթական համարը նվիրված էր գրողին:

«Այս համարում ներկայացված են Ռուբեն Հովսեփյանի մասին գրություններ, հոդվածներ, հուշեր: Զետեղվել են Հովսեփյանի թարգմանություններից հատվածներ: Առաջիկայում նրա մասին նոր պատմություններ ու գրողի անտիպ ստեղծագործությունները կտպվեն ամսագրում»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշեց ՀԳՄ նախագահ Էդվարդ Միլիտոնյանը և հավելեց, որ Ռուբեն Հովսեփյանն իր գործերով ասես դեղ ու դարման էր փնտրում իր և իր ժողովրդի համար:

Ռուբեն Հովսեփյանի դուստրը` Լիլիթ Հովսեփյանն ասաց, որ իր համար բավականին դժվար էր այս համարը պատրաստելը, քանի որ ամեն բան հիշեցրել է հորը: «Ես կնախընտրեի հորս հետ մեր աշխատասենյակում քննարկել ամսագրի հետ կապված ընթացիկ հարցերը, թեմաները, բայց….Կփորձեմ չհիասթափեցնել նրան և ընթերցասերներին»,- ընդգծեց նա:

«Լիլիթ Հովսեփյանը ոչ միայն հարազատական քայլ է կատարել իր մեծանուն ծնողի նկատմամբ, այլև շնորհակալ աշխատանք` մեր գրական կյանքի համար: Ցանկանում եմ, որ «Նորք»-ը շարունակի տպագրվել, քանի որ այն բացառիկ պրոֆեսիոնալ ամսագիր է»,- ասաց արձակագիր, գրականագետ Նորայր Ադալյանը:

Ռուբեն Հովսեփյանը կյանքի վերջին տարիներին դասավանդել է Երևանի թատրոնի և կինոյի պետական ինստիտուտում:

ԵԹԿՊԻ ռեկտոր, կինոգետ Դավիթ Մուրադյանի խոսքով` Ռուբենը  մեզ է թողել ոչ միայն լավ գրականություն, կինո, այլև տաղանդավոր աշակերտներ, որոնց շնորհիվ նա շարունակում է ապրել:

Ռուբեն Հովսեփյանը 1962 թվականին ավարտել է ԵՊՀ երկրաբանական ֆակուլտետը։ 1982-1987 թվականներին եղել է «Սովետական գրող» (այժմ՝ «Նաիրի») հրատարակչության գլխավոր խմբագիր, հետագայում ՀԳՄ քարտուղար, 1989 թվականից՝ «Նորք» ամսագրի գլխավոր խմբագիր։ Նրա «Որոնումներ», «Ճիչ», «Հայոց թաղ», «Հնձան» (համանուն կինոնկար, 1973), «Ամենատաք երկիրը» (համանուն կինոնկար, 1983), «Երկար, հրաշա լի օր», «Ճայերը» պատմվածքներում և վիպակներում արծարծվում են ժամանակի արդիական թեմաները:

Ռուբեն Հովսեփյանը թարգմանել է Լև Տոլստոյի մի քանի  ստեղծագործություն, ինչպես նաև Գ.Գ. Մարկեսի «Հարյուր տարվա մենությունը», «Նահապետի աշունը» երկերը:
