Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը Սիրիայում ռազմաբազայի վրա ԱՄՆ-ի գրոհը համարում Է ագրեսիա ինքնիշխան պետության դեմ: Այդ մասին լրագրողներին հայտնել Է պետության ղեկավարի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՏԱՍՍ-ին:
«Նախագահ Պուտինը Սիրիային ամերիկյան հարվածները համարում Է ագրեսիա ինքնիշխան պետության դեմ՝ միջազգային իրավունքի խախտմամբ, ընդ որում մտացածին պատրվակով»,- ասել Է Պեսկովը:
Պուտինն այն կարծիքին Է, որ Սիրիային ամերիկյան հարվածը Էական վնաս Է հասցնում ռուս-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններին, ինչպես նաեւ խոչընտոտում Է ահաբեկչությանն արդյունավետ հակազդելուն, նշել Է մամուլի քարտուղարը:
«Իսկ գլխավորը, ինչպես գտնում Է Պուտինը, այդ քայլը մեզ չի մոտեցնում միջազգային ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի վերջնական նպատակին, այլ, ընդհակառակը, լուրջ խոչընդոտ Է ստեղծում դրա դեմ պայքարելու նպատակով միջազգային կոալիցիա ստեղծելու եւ համաշխահային այդ չարիքին արդյունավետ հակազդելու համար, ինչն, ի դեպ ասած, ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հռչակել Է որպես իր գլխավոր խնդիրներից մեկը»,- հավելել Է Պեսկովը:
