«Նախորդ տարվա ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմում հրադադարի հաստատման օրվա կապակցությամբ հայտարարությամբ հանդես է եկել ԼՂՀ ԱԳՆ-ն: Ըստ այդմ, Ադրբեջանը տապալում է ցանկացած նախաձեռնություն, որն ուղղված է ռազմական գործողությունների վերսկսման հնարավորության բացառմանը։ «Ցուցադրելով բանակցությունների միջոցով հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը հասնելու ցանկության լիակատար բացակայություն՝ ադրբեջանական իշխանությունները սպառնում են սանձազերծել հերթական պատերազմը»,- ասված է հայտարարության մեջ։ Միաժամանակ, ԼՂՀ-ն Ադրբեջանին մեղադրել է թշնամանքի քաղաքականությունը խորացնելու մեջ:

«Հետեւողականորեն բարձրացնելով լարվածության աստիճանն Արցախի եւ Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի շփման գծում եւ շարունակելով առճակատման ու թշնամանքի քաղաքականությունը՝ Բաքուն նպատակաուղղված կերպով խորացնում է կողմերի միջեւ անվստահությունը եւ ձգտում ադրբեջանա-ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացը դարձնել սեփական ապակառուցողական քաղաքականության ու մաքսիմալիստական պահանջների պատանդը»։   Հետաքրքիրն այն է, որ ԼՂՀ-ն բարձր մակարդակով ահազանգում է պատերազմի վերսկսման վտանգի մասին եւ ակնարկում, որ հենց հակամարտության մյուս կողմն է խուսափում խաղաղության եւ հաշտության գնալուց:  

Հաշվի առնելով Արցախյան հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման գործընթացում վերջին շրջանի ակտիվությունը՝ այս հայտարարությունը պատահական չէ: Կարելի է ենթադրել, որ ԼՂՀ-ն ակնարկում է հակամարտության կարգավորման պատրաստակամության մասին՝ ասելով, թե հակառակորդն է դրանից խուսափողը, ավելին՝ թշնամանքը խորացնողը: Մինչ այդ «Ժողովուրդ»-ը մեկնաբանությունների համար դիմեց ԼՂՀ  նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանին:

«Որքան ուժեղ լինի հայկական բանակը, այնքան պատերազմի հավանականությունը քիչ կլինի: Եթե թշնամին հասկանա, որ մենք կործանարար հարվածներ ենք նրան հասցնելու, հաշվի առնելով նրա բնավարությունը՝ նա չի դիմի այլ քայլերի: Նրանք 2016թ. ապրիլի 2-ին սխալ հաշվարկ էին կատարել եւ ստացել են այնպիսի հարված, որ մինչեւ այժմ չեն համարձակվում հրապարակել իրենց կորուստների ճիշտ պատկերը: Նրանք կրել են ե՛ւ նյութական, ե՛ւ բարոյական մեծ կորուստներ»,- ասաց նա»»,–գրում է թերթը։
