Քառօրյա պատերազմից մասնակցած զինվորներից ոմանք ասել էին, որ իրենց զինգրքույկներում չեն նշվել մարտական գործողություններին մասնակից գրառումը:
Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում Ճամբարակ քաղաքից Թալիշ զորակոչված Վաղարշակ Եսայանը նշեց, որ անձնակազմի հետ ամեն դժվարություն, ամեն փորձություն անցել է, բայց այսօր իր զինգրքույկում գրված է, որ 02.04-ից 05.04-ի մարտական գործողությունների մասնակից չէ:
«Ծառայել եմ Մատաղիսի Թալիշ 2-րդ գումարտակներից մեկում: Մենք ամսի 1-ին բարձրացել ենք պոստեր: Իրիկունը ժամը 1-ից սկսել են ռմբակոծել պոստերի ու Թալիշ գյուղի վրա, առավոտ նկատել ենք, որ կողքի պոստերի վրա տանկերի կուտակումներ կան, ուզեցել ենք զեկուցել, տեսել ենք՝ կապերը նորմալ չի աշխատում, սկսել ենք մեր պոստը մեզանով պահել: Հետո կողքի պոստերի սաստավն արդեն չէր կարողանում իրենց պոստերը պահել, գալիս էին մեր պոստի ուղղությամբ, իրանց ընդառաջել ենք ու թուրքի (նկատի ունի ադրբեջանցիների) զորքի դեմ ենք սկսել կռվել»,-պատմեց նա:
Վաղարշակ Եսայանը նշեց, որ իրենց բախտն այնքանով է բերել, որ իրենց դիրքն ավելի բարձր է եղել:
«Մեր դիրքը բարձր էր, ու տանկի համար շատ անբարենպաստ ճանապարհներ էին, չկարողացան մինչև վերջ գալ, մենք էլ կրակում էինք: Այսինքն՝ պահեցինք պոստը, չտվեցինք թուրքին: Հետո մինչև ամսի 10-ը մնացինք պոստում, հետո իջեցրեցին, տարան հակառակ ուղղությամբ, այնտեղ խրամատներ էինք փորում, պատերազմից 10-ից հետո, մի ամսվա չափով խրամատ ենք փորել: Հետո ընդամենը երկու օրով իջեցրել են ու էլի բարձրացրել, համարյա երկու ամսից ավել չենք իջել ներքև: Մեկ էլ իջեցրել են զորացրվելուց երկու օր առաջ, բայց հենց զորացրվելուս օրը էլի բարձրացրել են, 8 օր ավել պահել ու նոր միայն զորացրել»,-պատմեց նա:
«Հիմա խնդիրն էնա, որ ես այդքան դժվարությունները տեսել եմ, կռվում եղել եմ, դեռ կռվի ժամանակ կարամ ասեմ, որ հենց աչքիս առաջ վիրավոր լեյտենանտին մոտավորապես 300 մետր տարել եմ, որովհետև կողքի պոստը արդեն թուրքի ձեռքն էր: Երեք զոհ ունեինք այնտեղ, ու երկու օր էր՝ չէինք կարողանում հանել, մի 80 հոգով պոստի վրա հարձակվեցինք, որ 3 զոհին հանենք: Այդ ժամանակ մեր կողքի վաշտից աֆիցեր կար, մեր բատալյոնից էր, ինքը արկի պայթյունից վիրավորվեց ոտքից։ Կարող եմ անունն էլ ասել՝ Սիմոնյան Համիկ, այդ ժամանակ լեյտենանտ էր, մեջքիս գցած մոտավոր 300 մետր տարել եմ, շտապօգնություն կար, իրանց եմ տվել ու ես էլի հետ դարձել մեր դիրք, կռիվը շարունակել»,-շարունակեց նա:
