Կովկասում «Իսլամական պետության» ակտիվացումը կարող է վտանգ ներկայացնել Հայաստանի համար: «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսում նշեց  արաբագետ Սարգիս Գրիգորյանը:

«Իսլամական պետություն»- ն իրենից  կարող է սպառնալիք ներկայացնել Կովկասում: Պանկիսի կիրճում կենտրոնացած է իսլամական ծայրահեղական լուրջ ներուժ: Դա անհանգստացնում է Ռուսաստանին,  Վրաստանին, Ադրբեջանին: «Իսլամական պետություն»-ը Կովկասում ունի վիլայեթ: Այն բավական ակտիվ է, որի ձեռքի գործն է վերջին շրջանում ահաբեկչական ակտիվությունը Դաղստանում, Չեչնիայում:  Չի բացառվում, որ «Իսլամական պետություն»-ն էլ ավելի ակտիվ գործողությունների գնա»,-ասաց Սարգիս Գրիգորյանը:

Կովկասում իրավիճակի թեժացումը կլինի Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար սպառնալիք, որովհետև մոտ է գտնվում: Սարգիս Գրիգորյանն անհանգստացնող համարեց նաև  Ադրբեջանում ծայրահեղականների առկայությունը:

«Վերջերս Ադրբեջանի Անվտանգության պետական ծառայության ղեկավարը խոսեց  900 ադրբեջանցու մասին, որոնք կռվել են Մերձավոր Արևելքում և հետ են վերադարձել: Նրանցից բացի, կան ադրբեջանցիներ, որոնք գնացել են Թուրքիա՝ փորձելով անցնել Սիրիա կռվելու, սակայն չի հաջողվել ու շատ հանգիստ կարող են վերադառնալ Ադրբեջան: Նրանք ոչ պակաս վտանգավոր են ոչ միայն Ադրբեջանի, այլև Կովկասի համար ընդհանրապես»,-ասաց նա:

Իրաքի եւ Լեւանտի իսլամական պետություն (ԻԼԻՊ կամ ԻՊ) խմբավորումը Սիրիայի հյուսիսարեւելյան եւ Իրաքիհյուսիսարեւմտյան շրջաններում հռչակեց Իսլամական պետության ստեղծումը: Այս ռազմական խմբավորմանը կարճժամանակում հաջողեց ամբողջ աշխարհի ուշադրությունը սեւեռել տարածաշրջանի վրա: «Իսլամական պետությունն» այսօր իր վերահսկողության տակ ունի լայն տարածքներ:
