ՌԴ նախագահ Պուտինը ապրիլի 3-ին շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Սերժ Սարգսյանին՝ խորհրդարանի ընտրությանը ՀՀԿ հաղթանակի կապակցությամբ: Ռուսաստանի նախագահի ուղերձն ուշագրավ է նրանով, որ մինչ այն հրապարակվելը տեղեկություն տարածվեց Սանկտ-Պետերբուրգի մետրոյում ահաբեկության մասին:

Ընդ որում, ահաբեկությունը տեղի էր ունեցել այն ժամանակ, երբ Սանկտ-Պետերբուրգում էր նաեւ ՌԴ նախագահը, որը մասնակցում էր Ազգային Ճակատ կազմակերպության հավաքին եւ նաեւ հանդիպում Բելառուսի նախագահ Լուկաշենկոյի հետ:

Ահաբեկության մասին Պուտինին զեկուցել են հանդիպումից րոպեներ առաջ:

Ահա այդ բարդ իրավիճակում ՌԴ նախագահը չի մոռացել շնորհավորել Սերժ Սարգսյանին: Դրանից առաջ Հայաստանի եւ ՌԴ նախագահները փոխանակվել էին հայ-ռուսական դիվանագիտական հարաբերության հաստատման 25-ամյակի կապակցությամբ շնորհավորական ուղերձներով՝ մինչ Սանկտ-Պետերբուրգի ողբերգությունը, իսկ դրանից հետո էլ Սերժ Սարգսյանը ցավակցել է Պուտինին:

ՀՀԿ հաղթանակի կապակցությամբ շնորհավորական ուղերձում Պուտինը հատուկ շեշտում է Սերժ Սարգսյանի դերակատարումը, ինչն ուշագրավ է, նկատի առնելով այն, որ նախընտրական արշավի ընթացքում ՀՀԿ գործողություններում առանցքային դերակատարումը եղել է Կարեն Կարապետյանինը: Գործնականում հենց նրա անհատական բարձր վարկանիշն է դրվել ՀՀԿ բացարձակ հաղթանակի «կերտման» հիմքում:
