LIFE
Հունվարի 22-ին հայտնի ու տաղանդավոր դերասան Հիթ լեջերի մահվան օրն է։ Իսկ ապրիլի 4-ը նրա ծննդյան օրն է: Հիշեցնենք, որ նա մահացել է 28 տարեկանում։ Ճիշտ է՝ նրա կյանքը կարճ է տևել, բայց իր տաղանդի շնորհիվ չի մոռացվում երկրպագուների կողմից։ Նրա մարմանովրած «Ջոկերը» համարում են լավագույններից։

Չնայած իր երիտասարդ տարիքին, նա վաստակել է Հոլիվուդի լավագույն դերասաններից մեկը համարվելու կոչումը:
Լեջերը ծնվել է Ավստրալիայում, բայց հետո տեղափոխվել Հոլիվուդ: Նրա առաջին դերերից է «Ատելության 10 պատճառ» ֆիլմում մարմնավորած կերպարը: Նրա խաղընկերը Ջուլի Սթայզն էր:
2000 թվականին Լեջերը նկարահանվում է Ռոլանդ Էմերիխի «Պատրիոտը» ֆիլմում Մել Գիբսոնի հետ միասին: Այս դերի հավակնորդներից էին նաև Ռայան Ֆիլիպը և Ջեյք Գիլենհոլը, բայց ի վերջո դերը բաժին է հասնում Լեջերին:
2001-ին Լեջերը նկարահանվում է «Ասպետի պատմությունը» ֆիլմում:
2005-ին հանդես է գալիս Լաս Հալստրեմի «Կազանովա» ֆիլմում.
2006-ին Լեջերը Բեռլինի կինոակադեմիայի կողմից գլխավոր մրցանակ է ստանում «Քենդի» ֆիլմի համար.
2008-ին կայանում է վերջին ֆիլմի պրեմիերան, որին անձամբ Լեջերը մասնակցում է. խոսքը «Սև ասպետը» ֆիլմի մասին է, որտեղ Լեջերը հանդես է եկել Ջոկերի կերպարով: Նրա խաղընկերը` Բեթմենի դերով, Քրիստիան Բեյլն էր: Շատերը Հենց Ջոկերի դերն են համարում ամենահաջողվածը Լեջերի կարիերայում: Նա հետմահու Օսկար է ստանում այդ ֆիլմի համար:
Նրա լավագույն դերերից է «Սապատավոր լեռը» ֆիլմում կատարած Էնիս Դելմարի դերը: Նա հանդես է գալիս համասեռամոլի դերում: Խաղընկերը Ջեյք Գիլենհոլն է:
Հաջող ֆիլմերից է նաև «Քելլի ավազակախումբը», որտեղ հանդես է եկել Օռլանդո Բլումի և Նաոմի Ուոթսի հետ: Այդ ֆիլմից հետո նրա և Ուոթսի միջև սիրավեպ է սկսում:
