«Նովոյե Վրեմյա» թերթին տված հարցազրույցի ժամանակ ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովն անդրադարձել է Ռուսաստանի և Հայաստանի միջև ռազմավարական գործընկերությունը: «2017թ. ապրիլի 3-ին նշվում է կարևոր իրադարձություն. Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 25-ամյակը: Այս ամսաթիվը խորհրդանշում է հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների նոր փուլ, որը հարյուրամյակների պատմություն ունի»,-ասել է նա:

Ըստ պաշտոնյայի՝ Արցախյան հակամարտության կարգավորումը կախված է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի քաղաքական կամքից և փոխզիջումային որոշումներից. «Շատ հարցերի շուրջ հաջողվել է պայմանավորվածություն ձեռք բերել. մնացել են մի քանի հարցեր, որոնք ամենաբարդն են: Սակայն ակնհայտ է, որ աշխատանքի արդյունքները կախված են առաջին հերթին երկու կողմերի քաղաքական կամքից, ճկունություն և փոխզիջումային որոշումներ կայացնելու նրանց պատրաստակամությունից»,-ասել է Լավրովը՝ հավելեով, որ Ռուսաստանը շարունակում է մնալ արցախյան հակամարտության կարգավորման ակտիվ մասնակից:

ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ն նաև խոսել է նաև երկու երկրներին միջև տնտեսական հարաբերությունների մասին՝ շեշտելով, որ երկու երկրների միջև ապրանքաշրջանառությունը աճել է 6 տոկոսով. «Մեզ է բաժին ընկնում արտասահմանայան ներդրումների շուրջ կեսը, մոտավորապես 3 միլիարդ դոլար: Հանրապետությունում աշխատում է շուրջ 2000 ձեռնարկություն՝ ռուսական մասնակցությամբ»,-ասել է նա:

Լավրովն ընդգծել է, որ կողմերի համար նոր հորիզոններ են բացվել Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությանը Հայաստանի անդամակցությունից հետո:
