Հեղինակավոր գերմանական Der Spiegel պարբերականն անդրադարձել է Թուրքիայում շարունակվող տնտեսական ճգնաժամին:
Ըստ պարբերականի` միայն երկրի հզորացման մասին մշտապես բացականչող Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը կարծես «այլ աշխարհում է ապրում»: Իրականում, Թուրքիայում հեղաշրջման փորձից հետո սկսված կադրային զտումներն ու տասնյակ հազարավոր ձերբակալությունները, քրդերի դեմ ռազմական գործողություններն ու քուրդ գրոհայինների կամ «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման զինյալների կողմից իրականացված հարձակումներն ահռելի վնաս են հասցրել երկրի տնտեսությանը:
Der Spiegel-ը հիշեցնում է, որ անցյալ տարվա երրորդ եռամսյակում Թուրքիայի տնտեսությունը գրանցել է 1.8 տոկոս անկում, իսկ թուրքական լիրան ռեկորդային անկում է գրանցել ամերիկյան դոլարի նկատմամբ: Ավելին` արհեստագործության պատմական ու հարուստ կենտրոններ համարվող Ստամբուլի «Փակ շուկա»-ում և Կայսերի (Կեսարիա - tert.am) քաղաքում ոսկերչությունն ու արծաթագործությունը զգալի կորուստներ են գրանցել:
Մասնավորապես, Ստամբուլի «Փակ շուկա»-ում անցյալ տարվա վերջին միանգամից փակվել են գործող 2000 արհեստագործական խանութներից 600-ը:
Պարբերականը նաև հայտնում է, որ Թուրքիայում, որտեղ արտաքին ներդրումները մինչ այդ կազմել են միջինը մոտ 400 մլրդ ԱՄՆ դոլար, 40 տոկոս կորուստ են գրանցել նաև այդ ոլորտում:
