 -Էդգար, մեր զրույցն ուզում եմ սկսել՝ հետաքրքրվելով այս շրջանի Ձեր գործունեությամբ: Ինչո՞վ եք զբաղված եւ ի՞նչ ծրագրեր ունեք առաջիկայի համար:
 
- Այժմ գեղարվեստական ֆիլմի առաջակ ունեմ, որի նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներով ենք զբաղված: Զուգահեռ նաեւ հանգստանում եմ՝ ժրաջան աշխատանքից հետո:
 
-Վերջերս Ձեզ տեսանք «Քավարան» հեռուստասերիալում: Սա իր նմանը չունեցող ֆիլմ էր, որը լարված պահեց շատերին: Մի փոքր կպատմե՞ք այստեղ Ձեր կատարած աշխատանքի, գործընկերների, կադրից դուրս պատահած դժվարությունների մասին:
 
- Շատ ուրախ եմ, որ առաջարկ ստացա աշխատել «Քավարան» հեռուստաֆիլմում: Սա իրոք իր նմանը չունեցող հեռուստաֆիլմ է, որի արձագանքներից հասկանում ենք, որ զուր չէր մեր աշխատանքը: Այստեղ ձեռք բերեցի շատ ընկերներ ու աշխատեցի պրոֆեսիոնալ մարդկանց հետ: Ռեժիսոր Հարութ Շատյանի հետ աշխատելը հետաքրքիր էր ու նրանից շատ բան կարելի է սովորել: Դերասանական կազմն էլ ուղղակի հրաշալի էր, կադրից դուրս էլ բոլորն աշխատում էին՝ առանց իրենց խնայելու: Ի դեպ՝ շատ շնորհակալ եմ մեր թիմին:
 
-Էդգար, նկատելի է, որ վերջին շրջանում Ձեզ այնքան էլ հաճախ չենք տեսնում էկրաններին: Ի՞նչն էր սրա պատճառը, առաջարկներ ստանալիս ի՞նչն եք ամենաշատը կարեւորում եւ ինչի դեպքում մերժում:
 
- Երկար դադար եղավ՝ մոտ մեկ տար: Այս ընթացքում զբաղված էի կոմերցիոն ներկայացումների փորձաշրջանով, որոնք կներկայացնենք մայիսին: Ի դեպ՝ առաջարկներ ունեցել եմ տարբեր սերիալներից, բայց մերժել եմ, քանի որ սցենարը չի գոհացրել, կամ գործող դերասաններին չեմ հավանել: Իսկ «Քավարան» հեռուստաֆիլմում աշխատելու առաջարկը ստանալուց եւ ռեժիսորի հետ զրուցելուց հետո, սիրով ընդունեցի:
 
-Մեր երկրում դերասաններից շատերը դժգոհում են ըստ արժանվույն չգնահատվելուց, խոսքը վարձատրության մասին է: Հետաքրքիր է՝ այս առումով ի՞նչ տեսակետ ունեք:
 
- Ամեն ոք վարձատրվում է ըստ արժանվույն եւ կապ չունի, թե ինչ ոլորտում ես աշխատում: Եթե պրոֆեսիոնալ ես, ապա չես կարող վատ վարձատրվել: Նույնն էլ մեր ոլորտում: Ինքս դժգոհություն չունեմ:
 
-Էդգար, կխնդրեմ ավելի մանրամասն պատմել թատրոնի աշխատանքից:
 
- Ինչպես նշեցի, մայիսին ներկայացում ունենք, խաղում ենք «Օթելլո» (Շեքսպիր): Յագոյի կերպարում եմ, ավելի մանրամասն կցանկանամ պրեմիերայից հետո խոսել: Միայն նշեմ, որ ռեժիսորն է՝ Աննա Հարությունյանը:
