Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի տարելիցի կապակցությամբ ուղերձ է հղել Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ԱՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի տեղեկատվության գլխավոր վարչությունից, ուղերձում, մասնավորապես, ասված է.

«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Մեկ տարի առաջ` ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը, Ադրբեջանը լայնածավալ գործողություններ ձեռնարկեց ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանի գրեթե ողջ երկարությամբ:

Պաշտոնական Բաքուն կրկին փորձեց ուժի միջոցով լուծել ադրբեջանա-ղարաբաղյան հակամարտությունը, կործանել Արցախի անկախ պետականությունը, նոր ցեղասպանություն իրականացնել հայ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ:

Թշնամու ագրեսիան լիակատար ձեւով ձախողվեց, եւ նա կրեց մեծ մարդկային, նյութական ու բարոյական կորուստներ՝ չկարողանալով կյանքի կոչել իր նենգ ծրագրերից եւ ոչ մեկը:

Հակառակորդն առերեսվեց Արցախի Հանրապետության մարտունակ զինված ուժերի, մեր քաջարի զինվորների, մեկ բանակ դարձած մեր բնակչության, Արցախի կողքին անմիջապես կանգնած ողջ հայ ժողովրդի, Մայր Հայաստանի եւ Սփյուռքի հետ: Հայ ժողովուրդը կրկին ապացուցեց, որ իր համար ամենաթանկն անկախ եւ ազատ հայրենիքն է, որը մենք ի վիճակի ենք հերոսաբար պաշտպանել ցանկացած ոտնձգությունից: 

Ցավոք, հակառակորդի ստոր եւ սադրիչ գործողությունների հետեւանքով ունեցանք անդառնալի կորուստներ: Զոհվեցին տասնյակ զինծառայողներ, նահատակվեցին նաեւ խաղաղ բնակիչներ:

Հավե՜րժ փառք ու պատիվ մեր բոլոր մարտիրոսներին: Նրանց պայծառ հիշատակը միշտ վառ կմնա մեր սրտերում, նրանց խիզախությունն ու սխրանքը ուղենիշ կհանդիսանան գալիք սերունդների համար:

 Պարտություն կրելով ռազմի դաշտում՝ Ադրբեջանը չի հրաժարվել իր զավթողական ծրագրերից: Նա շարունակում է վարել հայատյաց քաղաքականություն, չի դադարում իրականացնել հարձակողական գործողություններ քաղաքական, տեղեկատվական, դիվանագիտական հարթություններում, գրեթե ամեն օր խախտում է  զինադադարի ռեժիմը մեր սահմանների տարբեր հատվածներում: Նրա ղեկավարությունը չի թաքցնում, որ հետամուտ է ռեւանշիստական քաղաքականությանը: Այսպիսի պահվածքը ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան ահաբեկչություն, ցեղասպան քաղաքականության հերթական հրեշավոր ու անմարդկային դրսեւորում:

Այս ամենը մեկ անգամ եւս հաստատում է մեր ժողովրդի համար դարավոր մի ճշմարտություն. մենք պետք է միշտ լինենք ուժեղ ու միասնական, ազգովի պաշտպանենք մեր ազատությունն ու անկախությունը եւ կերտենք արժանապատիվ ապագա գալիք սերունդների համար:

Սիրելի՛ ժողովուրդ,

 Մեր ոգին ամուր է, կամքը` անկոտրում, նպատակներն` արդար: Մենք պաշտպանում ենք մեր հայրենի հողը, մեր տունն ու ընտանիքը, քրտնաջան աշխատանքով շենացնում ենք մեր երկիրը: Դա սրբազան առաքելություն է, որը մեր ժողովուրդը միշտ էլ պատվով կիրականացնի»:
