Հայ հեղափոխական դաշնակցություն կուսակցությունից պատգամավորության թեկնածու, ԱԺ ՀՅԴ խմբակցության ղեկավար Արմեն Ռուստամյանը վստահ է՝ եթե առաջիկա ընտրություններից սկսած Հայաստանը ձեւավորի ժողովրդավարական ընտրությունների ավանդույթ, մարդիկ տեսնեն, որ հենց իրենք են որոշում կայացնողները, ապա սա էական փոփոխություն կմտցնի նրանց մտածելակերպի մեջ :
«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին նա ասաց՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե արդյոք տարօրինակ չի՞ համարում վերջին տարիներին անցկացվող ընտրությունների նախաշեմին բռնության կամ զինված խմբերի հետ կապված իրադարձությունները:
«Դա անհերքելի փաստ է, որ ընտրությունների միջոցով Հայաստանում իշխանություններ չեն փոխվել: Սա է առաջացրել այն մեծ խնդիրը, որի առաջ մենք բոլորս կանգնած են, որ այսօր ընտրողը հիասթափված է ընտրություններից, բնականաբար, ընտրությունների հետ որեւէ հույս չի կապում՝ նկատի չունենալով, որ այս ընտրություններն արմատապես տարբերվում են նախորդներից եւ իսկապես ինչ-որ բան որոշող են, անգամ իշխանություն փոխելու միջոց հանդիսացող ընտրություններ են, բայց քանի որ մինչեւ այժմ մարդիկ նման բան չեն տեսել, հույսը կտրել են: Իհարկե, առաջանում են նման խմբեր, որ ոնք ասում են՝ հնարավոր չէ ընտրական ճանապարհով իշխանություն փոխել, պետք է դիմել ոչ ընտրական, հեղափոխական մեթոդների, որը մենք բազմիցս տեսել ենք. նաեւ տարբեր կոչերով հրապարակ եկած բազմաթիվ ուժեր, որոնք իրենց նպատակին չեն հասել, քանի որ նրանք իրենց մեջ են ունեցել խնդիրներ, այսինքն՝ ազնիվ ու արդար չեն եղել իրենց մեջ, այդ իսկ պատճառով էլ տրոհվել են»,-ասաց Արմեն Ռուստամյանը:
Նրա համոզմամբ՝ միայն ժողովրդավարական ընտրություններ ունենալով է հնարավոր ազատվել նման դրսեւորումներից:
