Ինչու ամեն ամերիկացի պետք է դիտի «Խոստումը» ֆիլմը. The Huffington Post-ում հոդված է հրապարակվել

Որքան շատ մարդիկ լսեն «Խոստումը» ֆիլմի մասին, նրանք կսկսեն բացահայտել ու ծանոթանալ 1915 թվականին Թուրքիայում տեղի ունեցած ողբերգական դեպքերի մասին: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ամերիկյան հեղինակավոր The Huffington Post պարբերականում հրապարակված հոդվածում գրել են Հայկարամ Նահապետյանն ու Քրիստոֆեր Աթամյանը` փորձելով ներկայացնել, թե ինչու ամեն ամերիկացի պետք է դիտի Հայոց ցեղասպան ության մասին պատմող հոլիվուդյան նոր ֆիլմը:
Հեղինակները պատմել են, որ 1915-1923 թվականներին օսմանյան կառավարությունը կոտորեց ավելի քան 3 միլիոն անմեղ քրիստոնյաների, որոնցից շուրջ 1,5 միլիոնը հայեր էին: Սակայն մինչ օրս թուրքերը շարունակում են հերքել կատարվածը` ասելով, որ դա պարզապես «դավադիր հայերի տեղահանություն է եղել»:
Թեպետ Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին հոլիվուդյան ֆիլմ նկարելու փորձեր նախկինում նույնպես եղել են, ինչպես օրինակ Ֆրանց Վերֆելի «Մուսա լեռան քառասուն օրը» գրքի հիման վրա ֆիլմը, որը պետք է նկարահաներ MGM ընկերությունը, սակայն թուրքական կողմի միջամտությամբ նման փորձերը կանխվում էին:
Միայն 2015 թվականին հաջողվեց նկարահանել 100 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլարանոց բլոկբաստերը` «Խոստումը», որի նկարահանման ծախսերը ֆինանսավորել էր ամերիկահայ մեծահարուստ Քըրք Քըրքորյանը:
«Թուրքիայում մինչ օրս վիրավորանք է համարվում ինչ-որ մեկին հայ անվանելը: Թուրքիայում աշխատող մի ամերիկացի ասում էր. «Շատ քիչ մարդիկ կան Թուրքիայում, ովքեր իսկապես հոգ են տանում այն մարդկանց համար, ովքեր էթնիկ թուրք չեն: Շատ թուրքեր չեն մտածում ժողովրդավարության մասին: Նրանք շատ լավ գիտեն, թե ինչ է տեղի ունեցել հայերի հետ 1915 թվականին, ու դա նրանց պարզապես չի մտահոգում: Դուք պետք է դադարեցնեք Թուրքիան Արևմուտքի երկրների հետ համեմատելը, որտեղ քաղաքացիական հասարակությունն ու կառավարությունները մարդու իրավունքներն ու հանդուրժողականությունը համարում են կարևոր արժեք: Թուրքիայում այս ամենը հաճախ դիտվում է որպես թուլության նշան»: Ի՞նչ կարող է անել մարդը` պայքարելու պետության կողմից հովանավորություն ստացող ժխտողականության դեմ և ինչպե՞ս կարելի է հանգեցնել փոփոխությունների: Հանուն համերաշխության բոլոր ցեղասպանությունների զոհերի հիշատակի առջև, այդ թվում և հայերի, և հաջակցություն մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքների ու արժանապատվության, ցանկացած ամերիկացի պետք է գնա և դիտի «Խոստումը», երբ այն կինովարձույթ դուրս գա ապրիլի 21-ից»,- նշում են հեղինակները:
Նրանք հորդորում են սոցցանցերի միջոցով կոչ անել ընկերներին ու գործընկերներին ևս դիտելու ֆիլմը` հուսալով, այս անգամ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը հերքելու թուրքական փորձերը կտապալվեն:
