Ազնավուր. Իմ ծնողները Ցեղասպանությունից փրկվել են իտալացի նավապետի համարձակության ու բարության շնորհիվ

Ընտանիքում մեր հարաբերությունները շատ մտերմիկ էին, այդ պատճառվ էլ ինձ համար կարեւոր է մեր պատմությունը, արմատները: Այս մասին հայտարարել է լեգենդար շանսոնյե Շարլ Ազնավուրը պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե երբ է նա եղել Ախալցխայում` իր հոր հայրենիքում:
«Իհարկե, մի քանի անգամ: Վերջին անգամ ես Ախալցխայում եղել եմ 2012-ին` համերգով, ինձ ուղեկցում էր իմ դուստր Կատյան: Ընտանիքում մեր հարաբերությունները շատ մտերիմ էին, այդ պատճառով էլ ինձ համար շատ կարեւոր է պատմությունը, արմատները: Դժբախտաբար, մոր կողմից իմ բոլոր հարազատները սպանվել են Ցեղասպանության ժամանակ: Իսկ հորս կողմից կան հարազատներ, ես հանդիպել եմ նրանց հետ: Ախալցխա վերջին այցիս ժամանակ տեղացիներն ինձ ցույց տվեցին վայրը, որտեղ ենթադրաբար գտնվել է իմ հոր տունը»,- նշել է Ազնավուրը:
Հորը հիշելով` Ազնավուրը նշել է, որ իր ծնողներն իր եւ իր քրոջ` Աիդայի համար ընդօրինակման օրինակներ են եղել: Շանսոնյեի ծնողները միշտ օգնել են մարդկանց:
«Այո, ինձ եւ իմ քույր Աիդային այդպես են դաստիարակել: Ցեղասպանությունից փախած մեր ծնողների ճակատագիրը, եւ նրանց վարքագիծը մեզ համար օրինակ են դարձել: Նրանք հաճախ էին հիշում իտալացի նավապետի համարձակությունն ու բարությունը, ով փրկել է նրանց Կոստանդնուպոլսից փախչելիս: Նրանք արդեն նավի վրա են եղել, երբ թուրք զինվորականներից մեկը հայերեն խոսակցություն է լսել ու վազել նրանց հետեւից: Բայց նավապետը պաշտպանել է իմ ծնողներին: Ես կարծում եմ` նրանց հաջողվել է փրկվել շատ մարդկանց բարության ու օգնության շնորհիվ, այդ պատճառվ էլ նրանք միշտ աշխատում էին բոլորին օգնել»:
Ազնավուրի խոսքով` իրենց ընտանիքը շատ համեստ է ապրել, բայց տան դռները միշտ բաց են եղել. «Նրանք կիսում էին այն ամենը, ինչ ունեին: Երբ սկսվեց Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմը եւ քաղց էր տիրում, բռնազավթում, ծնողներս մեր բնակարանում թաքցրել են հրեաների եւ ռեժիմի հակառակորդների: Նրանք չեն դավաճանել իրենց արժեքներին: Հայրս ճակատ է մեկնել, մայրս զենքը տեղափոխում էր մանկասայլակով, իսկ ես ու Աիդան օգնում էինք թաքցնել հին հագուստները եւ գտնում էինք նորերը»:
