Շենգավիթ վարչական շրջանն իսկապես յուրահատուկ է. Past.am-ի հետ զրույցում համայնքին նման բնութագրում տվեց ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր, ՀՀԿ վարկանիշային թեկնածու Արաիկ Հովհաննիսյանը: Ըստ նրա՝ յուրահատկությունն այն է, որ նախկինում այն եղել է արդյունաբերական հզոր կենտրոն:
«Ցավոք սրտի, որոշ հանգամանքներից ելնելով, այսօր արդյունաբերության հետ կապված խնդիրներ կան, սակայն մենք պետք է գտնենք լուծումներ մարդկանց սոցիալական վիճակը բարելավվելու համար»,- նշեց գործող պատգամավորը, ապա հավելեց. «Այս տարիների ընթացքում որոշակի աշխատանքներ, իհարկե, կատարվել են՝ սոցիալական, մշակութային և այլ ոլորտներում: Կարևորն այն է, որ մենք կարողանանք գտնել այնպիսի հնարավորություններ, որ անգամ սուղ պայմաններում հնարավոր լինի բավարարել մեր բնակչության կարիքները»:
Պատգամավորի թեկնածուն անդրադառնալով բնակիչների հետ հանդիպումներին ու նրանց հուզող հարցերի շուրջ քննարկումներին, ասաց. «Մենք մեր բնակիչների հետ հանդիպում ենք ոչ միայն քարոզչության ընթացքում, այլ պարբերաբար: Մեր կապն իրենց հետ հաճախակի է: Տեղաբնակները գալիս ու բազմաթիվ առաջարկություններ ու դիտողություններ են անում, որոնք, ես՝ որպես ԱԺ պատգամավոր, փորձում եմ օրենսդրական նախաձեռնությունների տեսքով կամ կառավարության հետ հարց ու պատասխանի ժամանակ բարձրաձայնել: Այստեղ բնակվում են մարդիկ, ովքեր պատվախնդիր են, աշխատասեր են, ու ովքեր իրենց ամենօրյա աշխատանքով փորձում են այնպիսի գործողություններ իրականացնել, որոնք կնպաստեն յուրաքանչյուրին: Այստեղ կա միասնականություն, կա ընտանիքի գաղափար, և դա պետք է պահպանել: Մենք կարծում ենք, որ բարի ավանդույթներն ընտրություններից հետո էլ պահպանվելու են, քանի որ գալու է ապրիլի 3-ը, ու մենք հնարավորություն ենք ունենալու մոռանալ այս նախընտրական թոհուբոհը: Ընտրություններից հետո մարդիկ անցնելու են բնականոն կյանքի ու աշխատանքի, իսկ դրա համար անհրաժեշտ բոլոր պայմանները կան»:
