Ի՞նչ գույն ունի երկինքը. կապույտ, այնպես չէ՞, իսկ խո՞տը... Մի խոսքով, այս հարցերը տալն իմաստ չունի, քանի որ թե՛ կապույտ, թե՛ կանաչ և թե՛ մյուս գույները, ինչպես պարզվում է, յուրաքանչյուրը տեսնում է իր ուրույն գունային գամմայում։ Արդյունքում դու կարող ես հանդիպել մեկին, ում համար քո «կապույտը» թանաքագույն կլինի կամ բաց մանուշակագույն։
Տարօրինակ է հնչում, սակայն այն բանից հետո, երբ համացանցում տեղադրված զգեստի լուսանկարը, որը որոշ մարդիկ կապույտ և սև, իսկ մյուսները սպիտակ և ոսկեգույն էին տեսնում, պարզ դարձավ, որ բոլորը չէ, որ գույները միանման են ընկալում։
Շատ մարդիկ կարծում են, որ շատ տարբերություն չկա կիտրոնի երանգի, դեղին լազերի լույսի գույնի և դեղձանիկի գույնի մեջ։ Նրանց համար դրանք բոլորը սովորական դեղին են։

20-ից պակաս։ Դուք բիքրոմատ եք։ Այսինքն՝ աչքերի մեջ ունեք գունազգայուն երկու ընկալիչներ։ Մարդկանց 25 տոկոսը բիքրոմատ է։ Բիքրոմատ են նաև շները։ Դիանա Դերվալը նշել է, որ այս տիպի մարդիկ հիմնականում սիրում են սև, մարմնագույն և թանաքագույն հագուստ կրել։
20-32։ Դուք եռաքրոմատ եք։ Դուք ունեք աչքի երեք տեսակի գունազգայուն ընկալիչներ։ Դուք կարողանում եք տարբերել մանուշակագույնի, կապույտի, կանաչի և կարմիր գույնի շատ երանգներ։ Եռաքրոմատ է մարդկանց 50 տոկոսը։
32-39։ Դուք տետրաքրոմատ եք, ինչպես իշամեղուն։ Պրոֆեսոր Դերֆալը նշել է, որ այս տեսակի մարդկանց մոտ գունազգայուն չորս տեսակ ընկալիչներ են աշխատում։ Նրանց ընկալած գունային գամման շատ ավելի հարուստ է։ Սակայն նրանց գրգռում է դեղինը, և ամենայն հավանականությամբ նրանք այս գույնի հագուստ չեն ընտրի։ Մարդկանց 25 տոկոսը տետրաքրոմատ է։
