Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի Տավրիկյան պալատում` ԱՊՀ միջխորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի հայկական ներկայացուցչությունում, ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հանդիպել է Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի հայկական համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ՀՀ ԱԺ պատվո մեդալով պարգեւատրվ ել է ԱՊՀ ՄԽՎ-ում ՀՀ ԱԺ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ, ԱՊՀ ՄԽՎ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի տեղակալ Հայկ Չիլինգարյանը. պարգեւը հանձնել է ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:
ՀՀ ԱԺ պատվոգրով եւ ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի շնորհակալագրով են պարգեւատրվել նաեւ հայկական համայնքի 18 ներկայացուցիչներ: Հանդիպման ընթացքում Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հանդես է եկել ելույթով եւ պատասխանել է հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հարցերին: ԱԺ փոխնախագահը կարեւորել է Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի հայության դերը Հայաստան-Սփյուռք-Արցախ եռամիասնության ամրապնդման, հայապահպանության, հայկական մշակույթի պահպանման եւ տարածման գործում: Նա մասնավորապես նշել է. «Հարգելի քույրեր եւ եղբայրներ, այս տարի լրանում է Հայաստանի եւ Ռուսաստանի միջեւ դիվանագիտական հարա բերությունների հաստատման 25-ամյակը: Երկու երկրների դաշնակցային հարաբերություններում կարեւոր է Ռուսաստանում ապրող հայերի, այդ թվում՝ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի հայության ներդրումը: Մենք շնորհակալ ենք յուրաքանչյուրիդ հայրենիքի կողքին լինելու եւ հայրենիքի խնդիրներով ապրելու համար: Հայաստանի եւ Արցախի առջեւ ծառացած մարտահրավերների լուծման գործում կարեւոր է նաեւ արտերկրում ապրող մեր հայրենակիցների դերը: Միայն միասնական, համերաշխ եւ նպատակասլաց գործունեության դեպքում մենք կարող ենք ունենալ մեր երազանքների Հայաստանը: Հայաստան-Սփյուռք-Արցախ ե ռամիասնությունը պետք է լինի մեր հաջողությունների գրավականը: Այսօր մեր հայրենիքը կանգնած է կարեւոր մարտահրավերների եւ ընտրության առջեւ եւ համոզված եմ, որ միայն անվտանգությունն ապահովելով՝ մենք կարող ենք արձանագրել առաջընթաց: Համոզված եմ, որ թե՛ անվտանգության եւ թե՛ առաջընթացի ապահովման հարցում դուք ունենալու եք էական դերակատարում: Շնորհակալ եմ ձեր նվիրումի համար»: Հանդիպման ավարտին ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը շնորհավորել է բոլոր պարգեւատրվածներին:
