Դերասան Վահագն Խաչատրյանը, ով խաղացել է «Բանակում», «Գեներալի աղջիկը», «Քաղաքում» «Ուրիշի հոգի» ու այլ հեռուստասերիալներում, հանդիսանում է «Ինտերակտիվ» թատրոնի հիմնադիր-անդամ, խաղացել է «Երևանի մնջախաղի պետական թատրոն»–ում և Երևանի պետական կամերային թատրոն»–ում, Tert.am Life–ի հետ զրույցում խոսել է կարիերայի, գումար աշխատելու ու կնոջ հետ միանալու մասին։
 
–Վահագն, մինչև օրս շատերը հիշում են Ձեզ «Բանակում»–ի Վարոսի կերպարով, չնայած այլ դերեր էլ եք խաղացել։ Մնացած կերպարներն ինչո՞ւ չի հիշվում։
 
–Այստեղ միայն իմ գործոնը չէ։ Տարբեր բաներ կան, որ զուգադիպում են։ Սկսենք նրանից, որ «Բանակումը» ստացված սերիալ էր։ Այդ սերիալում կար ստեղծագործական միջավայր։ Ռեժիսորը նկարահանման հրապարակում ոչ թե ասում էր мотор ու стоп, այլ աշխատում էր դերասանի հետ։ Գլխավոր կերպարներ կերտողները մասնագիտությամբ դերասաններ էին։ Երբ մարդը մասնագետ չէ, գալիս է օրգանական տեքստն ասում է ու վերջ, խաղ չկա։ Իմ գլխավոր ցավերից մեկն է, որ ոչ ոք ժամանակ ու հավես չունի աշխատելու դերասանի հետ։ Ոչ ոք չի զբաղվում իր գործով։ Դերասանից էլ պահանջվում է ոչ թե խաղ, այլ պարզապես տեքստ։ Կարծում եմ՝ օրգանական տեքստ յուրաքանչյուրն էլ կարող է ասել։ Դրա համար էլ մեր մասնագիտության որակն իջնում է։ Որակով աշխատանք ներկայացնելու համար նախ և առաջ պետք է լինի լավ սցենար ու աշխատանք։
 
 
-Այդ դեպքում ինչո՞ւ եք շարունակում նկարահանվել հեռուստասերիալում, եթե մտածում եք` որակ չկա։
 
-Մինչև 2009 թվականը բազում առաջարկներ եմ ունեցել ու մերժել եմ։ Սկզբունքորեն չէի խաղում սերիալներում։ Քանի որ ցածր որակի աշխատանքներ էին, որոնց մեջ ինձ չէի տեսնում։ Հետո նկարվեց «Կյանքի գինը» հեռուստասերիալը, որտեղ դերասան Սամվել Սարգսյանը մարմնավորում էր Բարխուդարովի կերպարը։ Ես հասկացա, որ դերասանը կարող է իր խաղով փոխել արտադրանքը`դարձնելով  որակյալ։ Չեմ ասում՝ մնացածը վատ էին խաղում ու մենակ ինքն էր լավ խաղում։ Պարզապես, նա ինձ համար վառ օրինակ էր։ Մտածեցի, եթե ես իմ գործով չզբաղվեմ, իմ փոխարեն կգա մեկ ուրիշը, որը կամ լավ, կամ ավելի վատ կանի դա։ Մտածեցի`պետք է վերանայել որոշումը։ Դրանից հետո ընդունեցի առաջարկները։
 
–Դերասանական կարիերային զուգահեռ միշտ ձգտել եք բիզնես ունենալ։ Մի անգամ էլ ասել էիք`ես չեմ կարող դառնալ «ալկոհոլիկ» կամ նստել գրիմանոցում ու բամբասել. Դրանից հետո զբաղվել եք ծաղկի բիզնեսով և ծաղիկներ վաճառել, սակայն դա երկար չտևեց։ Հիմա ի՞նչով եք զբաղված՝ բացի Ձեր բուն մասնագիտությունը։
 
–Բացի հիմնական մասնագիտական գործը, աշխատում եմ Betconstruct կազմակերպությունում՝ որպես bookmaker unit specialist: Այդ աշխատանքի շնորհիվ կարողանում եմ ունենալ մշտական կայուն եկամուտ։
