Մարտի 23-ը օդերևութաբանի համաշխարհային օրն է

Հայաստանում արդեն 12 տարի է մարտի 23-ը նշում են որպես օդերևութաբանի օր՝ կառավարության համապատասխան որոշմամբ։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ՀՀ ԱԻՆ հիդրոմետ ծառայության օդերևութաբանության կենտրոնի պետ Գագիկ Սուրենյանը իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել իր կոլեգաներին։
«Շնորհավորում եմ իմ բոլոր կոլեգաներին՝ մասնագիտական տոնի կապակցությամբ, ցանկանում եմ նրանց քաջ առողջություն, նորանոր հաջողություններ աշխատանքային բնագավառում: Թող բնական աղետները շրջանցեն մեր երկիրը, մեր կանխատեսումները լինեն միայն բարենպաստ օդերևութաբանական երևույթների վերաբերյալ, իսկ եթե նույնիսկ լինեն վատ կանխատեսումներ, թող դրանք չարդարանան»,- նշել է Սուրենյանը:
2016 թվականին այդ օրվա համար ընտրվել է «Ավելի շոգ, չորային, խոնավ հայացքով` ապագային» նշանաբանը և դա պատահական չէ, քանի որ մոլորակի բոլոր կետերում տեղի են ունենում եղանակի և կլիմայի հետ կապված այնպիսի շրջադարձային եւ ճակատագրական իրադարձություններ, որ ակնառու է դարձնում Երկրագնդի գլոբալ դիտարկումների և ուսումնասիրման անհրաժեշտությունը։
«Տարերային աղետների 90 տոկոսը այս կամ այն կերպ եղանակային, կլիմայական կամ ջրային ծագում ունեն։ Ցավոք, վերջին տարիներին տարերային աղետների կտրուկ աճի միտում է նկատվում, ինչը չի կարող իր բացասական ազդեցությունը չունենալ բնականոն զարգացման վրա։ Նման իրավիճակը պահանջում է օդերևութաբանական եւ հիդրոլոգիական սպասարկման նոր, ավելի կատարելագործված տեսակներ։ Հայաստանում բնության, եղանակի եւ կլիմայի նկատմամբ ակնադիտարկումներ կատարվել են շատ վաղ ժամանակներում, իսկ առաջին գործիքային դիտարկումները՝ 18-րդ դարի քառասունականներին, Խաչատւր Աբովյանի մասնակցությամբ, երբ կազմակերպվեցին Ալեքսանդրապոլի (Գյումրի, 1843թ.), Էրիվանի (Երեւան, 1844թ.), ապա նաև Նոր Բայազետի (Գավառ, 1890թ.) և Ելենովկայի (Սեւան, 1894թ.) օդերևութաբանական կայանները»,- ասվում է Գագիկ Սուրենյանի գրառման մեջ։
Սկսած 1961 թվականից՝ մարտի 23-ը համաշխարհային օդերևութաբանական կազմակերպության անդամ, աշխարհի 188 երկրներում նշվում է որպես համաշխարհային օդերևութաբանական օր՝ պայմանավորված 1950 թվականի այդ օրը Համաշխարհային օդերևութաբանական կազմակերպության կոնվենցիայի գործողության մեջ մտնելու հանգամանքի հետ։
