«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Երեկ Սամվել Բաբայանի ձերբակալությունից հետո քաղաքական կուլիսներում կարծիքներ էին հնչում, թե շուտով ՕՐՕ դաշինքից այլ հնչեղ ձերբակալություններ էլ կլինեն կամ առնվազն քրեական այդ և այլ գործերում ներգրավվածություն կլինի:
Տվյալ դեպքում շեշտում էին դաշինքի նախընտրական ցուցակի առաջնորդ Սեյրան Օհանյանի անունը, հատկապես որ արդեն շրջանառվում է, թե նա առնչություն է ունեցել Նորքի զինված խմբի գործունեության հետ:
Ըստ նույն շրջանակների, եթե Օհանյանը ներգրավված չլինի «Իգլա» զենիթահրթիռային համալիրի ներկրման գործում, ինչի կասկածանքով երեկ ձերբակալվել է Սամվել Բաբայանը, ապա դա կարվի զինված խմբի գործով: Երեկ մենք փորձեցինք Սեյրան Օհանյանից մեկնաբանություն ստանալ, թե արդյոք իրավապահ մարմինները նաև իր հետևի՞ց կգան. պաշտպանության նախկին նախարարն անպատասխան թողեց մեր հարցը: «Մնացած հարցերին ես կարող եմ պատասխանել պարզաբանելուց հետո»,- ասաց նա»:
