Բեքչյանը Մաշալյանին կարգել է իր փոխանորդի պաշտոնում

Գերմանիայի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ, Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքական ընտրված տեղապահ Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանը Քյոլնի առաջնորդարանից նամակ է ուղարկել պատրիարքական փոխանորդ Արամ արքեպիսկոպոս Աթեշյանին` կոչ անելով հետևել եկեղեցական ավանդույթներին և դադարել կիրառել «փոխանորդ» եզրը պաշտոնական գրագրության մեջ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է ;Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ժամանակ» օրաթերթը:
Աթեշյանին ուղղված նամակում նա հիշեցրել է տեղապահի ընտրության արդյունքը: «Այս ընտրությունը տեղի է ունեցել համապատասխան մեր եկեղեցական ավանդույթների և կարգուկանոնի: Հետևաբար, նահանգապետարանից եկած նամակի հրապարակումը եկեղեցական իշխանության կամքի վրա ստվեր գցելու տպավորություն է թողնում: Ուստի հանձնարարում եմ հետ կանգնել նման դիրքորոշումից, մասնավորապես՝ հարգել հայկական եկեղեցու կարգն ու կանոնները»,- նշել է Բեքչյանը նամակում:
Նա ընդգծել է` Աթեշյանը պետք է հաշվի առնի այն փաստը, որ տեղապահի ընտրությամբ դադարում են պատրիարքական ընդհանուր փոխանորդի լիազորությունները: Ուստի Նորին Սրբազանությունը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ որպես բարձրաստիճան եկեղեցական` Աթեշյանն առաջնահերթ պարտավորություն պետք է համարի պահել եկեղեցական ավանդույթն ու գործել համապատասխան ձևով: Բեքչյանը կոչ է արել նրան դադարեցնել ընդհանուր փոխանորդի տիտղոսի գործածությունը և այդ արտահայտությունից խուսափել նաև Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքարանի կողմից մամուլին տված ծանուցումների մեջ:
Նույն նամակով տեղապահ ընտրված Բեքչյանը Աթեշյանին տեղեկացրել է, որ տեղապահի փոխանորդ է նշանակել պատրիարքարանի հոգևոր ժողովի նախագահ Սահակ եպիսկոպոս Մաշալյանին, որպեսզի իր բացակայությամբ նա հսկի բոլոր աշխատանքները:
Վերջում Բեքչյանն Աթեշյանին խնդրել է իրեն տրամադրել Ստամբուլի նահանգապետարանին հանդիպում կազմակերպելու նպատակով ուղարկված դիմումի պատճենը:
Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքական տեղապահ Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանը մարտի 19-ին Թուրքիայից վերադարձել է Գերմանիա: Նա հայտնել էր, որ մոտ մեկ շաբաթով բացակայելու է Ստամբուլից, քանի որ այնտեղ նախապես ծրագրած կարևոր հանդիպում ունի: Սրբազանի խոսքով` Գերմանիայից վերադարձին պետք է պատրաստություն տեսնի ավելի երկարաժամկետ կեցության համար:
