Սումգայիթի հայկական ջարդերի 29-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառում է կազմակերպվել Բաթումիում

Բաթումիի Սուրբ Փրկիչ եկեղեցու բակում տեղակայված խաչքարի մոտ, Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Վիրահայոց թեմի հոգևոր հովիվ Տեր Արարատ քահանա Գումբալյանի մատուցմամբ մարտի 19-ին կատարվեց հոգեհանգստյան կարգ՝ նվիրված 1988 թ. փետրվարին ադրբեջանական Սումգայիթ քաղաքում տեղի ունեցած հայկական ջարդերի զոհերի հիշատակին, որից հետո տեղի ունեցավ ծաղկեդրման արարողություն խաչքարի մոտ` ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսության, հայկական համայնքային կառույցների և անհատների կողմից։ Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:
Այնուհետև, դրան հաջորդեց միջոցառում Ալեքսանդր Մանթաշյանի անվան հայկական կրթամշակութային կենտրոնում: Անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակին և ոճրագործությունները դատապարտող խոսքով հանդես եկան Բաթումիում ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոս Եղիշե Սարգսյանը, Տեր Արարատ քահանա Գումբալյանը, Աջարիայի հայերի միության նախագահ Գրիգոր Վարդանյանը, «Մեր տունը Վրաստանն է» հայ-վրացական կազմակերպության նախագահ Սահակ Տալիթյանը:
ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսը, մասնավորապես, ընդգծեց, որ 29 տարի առաջ Սումգայիթում տեղի ունեցած հայկական ջարդերը և զանգվածային սպանությունները, չարժանանալով միջազգային հանրության կողմից համապատասխան գնահատականի որպես մարդկության դեմ գործած ծանր հանցանքի, հետագա տարիներին Ադրբեջանի կողմից նույն գործելակերպով կրկնվեցին Կիրովաբադում, Բաքվում, Մարաղայում և այլ վայրերում: Ներկայացվեցին նաև Աղդամի մոտակայքում տեղի ունեցած դեպքերի և սպանությունների մասին ճշմարիտ տեղեկություններ և ադրբեջանական քարոզչության կողմից դրանք կեղծիքների հիման վրա ներկայացնելու փաստեր:
Միջոցառման ընթացքում ցուցադրվեցին փաստագրական ֆիլմեր սումգայիթյան եղեռնագործության և Աղդամի մոտակայքում տեղի ունեցած դեպքերի մասին:
