VIDEOԴարավոր պատմություն ունեցող այս եկեղեցին կառուցել է կապուցինների միաբանությունը սիցիլիական Պալերմո քաղաքում: Սակայն այն հայտնի է ոչ թե իր գեղեցիկ ճարտարապետության շնորհիվ, այլ նկուղում գտնվող դամբարանի, որում պահպանվում են շուրջ 2000 մումիաներ: Այդ մումիաներից մեկը բացառիկ է:
Ռոզալիա Լոմբարդոն ընդամենը 2 տարեկան էր, երբ 1920 թվականին թոքաբորբի հետևանքով կնքեց իր մահկանացուն: Աղջկա հայրը՝ Մարիո Լոմբարդոն, քիչ էր մնում մահանար ողբից, երբ իր փոքրիկ դստրիկը լքեց այս աշխարհը: Նա որոշեց, որ իր դստեր մարմինը պետք է պահպանի այնպիսին, ինչպիսին նա կար կյանքի իր վերջին օրերին: Մարիոն վարձեց բարձրակարգ մասնագետ Ալֆրեդո Սլաֆիային, ով փոխարինեց Ռոզալիայի արյունը ֆորմալդեհիդով: Աղջկա մարմնի մեջ պարբերաբար սպիրտ ու թթու ներարկելով՝ նա հասավ այնպիսի արդյունքների, որոնք անհնար է թաքցնել:
Այս բալիկն այնքան բնական ու խաղաղ տեսք ունի, որ թվում է, թե ուր որ է կարթնանա: Մինչդեռ նա մահացել է գրեթե մեկ դար առաջ, ու այս ողջ ընթացքում փոքրիկ մումիան սարսափելի մի գաղտնիք է պահում, որը չեն կարողանում բացատրել:
Բանն այն է, որ Ռոզալիան ամեն օր բացում ու փակում է աչքերը: Որոշ փորձագետներ բացատրում են սա տեսողական խաբկանքով, որն առաջանում է, երբ լույսն ընկնում է աղջկա մումիայի կիսաբաց աչքերին, ինչից հայացքը սառչում է և սարսափազդու չարաբաստիկ տեսք է ստանում:
