Արմավն ունի շատ օգտակար հատկություններ, որոնք կարող են առողջական շատ խնդիրներ լուծել, ինչպիսիք են՝ կաթվածը, սրտի նոպան, խոլեստերինը և հիպերտոնիան:

Պարունակում է մեծ քանակությամբ երկաթ, ինչն առանձնակի օգտակար է երեխաների, հղիների և անեմիայով տառապող մարդկանց համար: Բավարար է օրական 100 գ. արմավ օգտագործել, որը պարունակում է 0,9 մգ երկաթ: Դա օրական խորհուրդ տրվող նորմայի մոտ 11%-ն է: Երկաթը նաև դրականորեն է ազդում արյան կարմիր բջիջների և հեմոգլոբինի վրա՝ գլխավորապես նպաստելով արյան միջով թթվածնի անցնելուն:

Խուրման օգտակար է նաև վատ խոլեստերինի մակարդակի կարգավորման համար, քանի որ մաքրում է արյունատար անոթները և կանխում է տրոմբերի առաջացումը:

Արմավը թրջեք, թողեք գիշերը: Առավոտյան քամեք դրա հյութը, խառնեք ջրին և խմեք ստացված ըմպելիքը:
Արմավը կարգավորում է զարկերակային ճնշումը
Հիմնականում հիպերտոնիայով տառապող մարդիկ պետք է հնարավորինս շատ արմավ ուտեն, քանի որ այն հարուստ է կալիումով և նատրիում չի պարունակում: 5-6 հատ արմավը պարունակում է մոտ 80 մգ մագնեզիում, որը լավացնում է այան հոսքը: Մոտ 370 մգ մագնեզիում է անհրաժեշտ արյան ճնշման իջեցման համար:
