ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի անդամներից ավելի շատ ակտիվություն ու նոր գիտական նվաճումներ է ակնկալում: ՀՀ ԳԱԱ-ում նախագահության տարեկան հաշվետվության ներկայացման միջոցառման ընթացքում ՀՀ նախագահը նկատեց, որ շատերի մոտ պասիվություն է նկատում: «Ես կրկին ցանկանում եմ անդրադառնալ շատ-շատ մարդկանց պասիվությանը: Գիտեք` ագրեսիվ փոքրամասնությունը շատ խնդիրների է խոչընդոտում: Ուստ ի, ես ակնկալում, եմ, որ այն մարդիկ, ովքեր կարող են նոր միտք ասել, այն մարդիկ, ովքեր կարող են օգուտ բերել, մի փոքր ավելի ակտիվ լինեն Դուք էլ պիտի փոխվեք, ինչպես մենք ենք փորձում փոխվել: Այդ փոփոխությունները բոլոր տեղերում անհրաժեշտ են, բայց փոփոխությունը ինքնըստինքյան հարց չի լուծում: Փոփոխությունը պիտի բերի դրական արդյունքների»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշեց Նախագահ Սարգսյանը:

Դիմելով  ներկաներին` ՀՀ Նախագահն ընդգծեց, որ նրանցից ակնկալում է ակտիվություն, գիտության մեջ նվաճումներ, ակնկալում է, որ այդ նվաճումները հնարավոր լինի օգտագործել պրակտիկայում, ակնկալում է, որ երիտասարդներին ավելի շատ  ընդառաջեն: «Երիտասարդների մոտ փորձը քիչ է, բայց էներգիան շատ է: Եվ շատ դեպքերում այդ էներգիայի առկայությունը լավ արդյունքների է բերում: Իհարկե, մեկ-մեկ բացասական էլ է լինում այդ էներգիան, սակայն հիմնականում լավ արդյունքների է բերում: Սա է իմ ակնկալիքը ձեզանից»,- ընդգծեց Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ դեմ չի լինի մայիսին կամ հունիսին, երբ ավարտված կլինեն քաղաքական գործընթացները, նեղ կազմով հավաքվել և քննարկել, թե ինչ քայլեր են հարկավոր երկրում գիտությունը զարգացնելու համար:
