Հրաձգության Եվրոպայի առաջնությանփոխչեմպիոն Լիլիթ Մկրտչյանը գոհ է իր արդյունքից, բայց ձգտելու է ավելիին:
«Մրցաշարը բավականին բարդ էր, ես առաջին անգամ էի մեծահասակների հետ մասնակցում Եվրոպայի առաջնությանը: Բայց այս մրցաշարն ինձ ստիպեց հասկանալ, որ անհնարին ոչինչ չկա: Ես նրանցից ոչնչով չեմ տարբերվում: Հնարավորություն կար ավելի բարձր արդյունք ցույց տալ, բայց լարվածությունը խանգարեց: Միայն եզրափակիչում չդիմացա լարվածությանը: Առաջին մեկնարկիս համար միավորները շատ քիչ էին: Եվ գոհ եմ, և դժգոհ: Գոհ եմ, որ կարողացա եզրափակիչ կրակոցներին առաջին մեկնարկին ինձ հավաքել, բայց դժգոհ եմ, որ արդյունքս բարձր չէր»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում կայացած ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասաց Մկրտչյանը:
Եվրոպայի փոխչեմպիոնը աշխարհամասի առաջնությունը համեմատելով երիտասարդների առաջնության հետ, մասնավորապես, ասաց. «Երիտասարդների առաջնությունը շատ էր տարբերվում, այդ դեպքում միավորների համար կռիվ ես տալիս: Սկսում ես սպորտի հաճույքը զգալ մինչև վերջին պահը: Այս արդյունքն ինձ ոգևորեց, որ հրաձգարանից դուրս չգամ»:
Լիլիթ Մկրտչյանը «վազող թիրախ նորմալ վազք» մեծահասակների պայքարում 12 մրցակցուհիների շարքում խոցելով 369 միավոր՝ 4-րդ հորիզոնականով անցել է եզրափակիչ փուլ: Կիսաեզրափակիչում 8:6 հաշվով Լիլիթը առավելության է հասել ռուս ՕլգաՍտեպանովայի նկատմամբ: Իսկ եզրափակիչում 6:2 հաշվով զիջել է ուկրաիÕ �ուհի Գալինա Ավրամենկոյին:
