Ադրբեջանի կողմից ԼՂ ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի ճանաչման դեպքում բոլոր հարցերը շատ արագ կլուծվեն. ՀՀ Նախագահ

Հայաստանի զինված ուժերը մարտունակ են և ունեն ամեն անհրաժեշտը նրա համար, որ ապահովեն Հայաստանի սահմանների անվտանգությունը և լինեն նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բնակչության անվտանգության երաշխավորը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակիցը, նման հայտարարությամբ ՀՀ Նախագահը հանդես եկավ Մոսկվայի միջազգային հարաբերությունների պետական ինստիտուտում` պատասխանելով ուսանողնե րից մեկի հարցին:
«Եվս մեկ անգամ կրկնեմ, մենք պատերազմ չենք ուզում, ցանկանում ենք այս խնդիրը լուծել խաղաղ ճանապարհով` Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների օգնությամբ»,- շեշտեց ՀՀ Նախագահը:
Սերժ Սարգսյանը հիշեցրեց, որ վերջին երեք տարիների ընթացքում ադրբեջանական կողմը շատ հաճախ նշում է, որ ստատուս-քվոն անընդունելի է: «Իրականում ստատուս-քվոն անընդունելի է. մենք ևս կցանկանայինք, որ ամեն ինչ փոխվեր, և Ադրբեջանը ճանաչեր Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքը, այդ դեպքում իրականում ստատուս-քվոն կփոխվի: Մնացած ամեն ինչն ածանցյալ է սրանից: Դա անքակտելի իրավունք է: Այսօրվա աշխարհակարգը հենց դա է հուշում: Եթե չլիներ ինքնորոշման իրավունքը, եթե հնարավորություն չլիներ այն կենսագործելու, ապա և՛ Հայաստանը, և՛ Ադրբեջանը կինեին Խորհրդային միության կազմում: Չի կարելի մի դեպքում ինքնորոշման ճանապարհով դառնալ անկախ պետություն, իսկ հետո դեմ լինել մեկ այլ դեպքի: Դա անընդունելի է: Այդ պատճառով` եթե ադրբեջանական կողմն իրականում ճանաչի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի իրավունքը և այն ինքնորոշվի, մնացած բոլոր հարցերը շատ արագ կլուծվեն»,- ամփոփեց Հայաստանի ղեկավարը:
