Հոդվածում նշվում է.

«Հայաստանում երեխաները սկսում են մտածել իրենց կարիերայի մասին շատ վաղ տարիքից՝ մոտ վեց ամսականից:

Երբ հայտնվում է փոքրիկի առաջին ատամը՝ չորսից յոթ ամսական հասակում, նրա ծնողները հատուկ արարողություն են կատարում, որը կոչվում է «ագրա հադիգ» կամ «ատամ հատիկ»:

Արարողության ընթացքում երեխայի դիմաց դրվում են մի շարք իրեր, որոնք տարբեր մասնագիտություններ են խորհրդանշում՝ ֆոնենդոսկոպ՝ բժիշկների համար, բարձրախոս՝ երգչի համար, մկրատ՝ վարսահարդարի համար, գումար՝ բանկիրի համար և այլն: Այն առարկան, որը երեխան իր ձեռքն է վերցնում ամենասկզբում, խորհրդանշում է նրա ապագա մասնագիտությունը:

Ատամի հայտնվելուց հետո երեխան կարող է կոպիտ ուտելիքներ ուտել, և Երևանի պետական համալսարանի մշակութային գիտությունների պրոֆեսոր Յուլիա Անտոնյանն ասում է, որ սա ամենաբարենպաստ ժամանակն է պարզելու, թե ամենայն հավանականությամբ երեխան ապագայում ինչ բախտի կարժանանա:

Հատուկ որոշված առարկաներ չկան, որոնք պարտադիր կերպով պիտի դրվեն երեխայի դիմաց: Դրանք հիմնականում լինում են ավանդական մասնագիտությունների հետ կապված իրեր, իսկ ծնողներն իրենց ցանկությամբ կարող են էլի մի քանի բաներ ավելացնել:

«Ծնողները կարող են նպաստել իրենց երեխաների ապագայի կառուցմանը նրա դիմաց այնպիսի իրեր դնելով, որոնք միայն լավ  և օգտակար մասնագիտություններ են խորհրդանշում», - ասում է պրոֆեսոր Անտոնյանը,- «գիրք՝  գրողի կամ գիտնականի համար, գրիչ՝ ճարտարապետի, դիզայների կամ արտիստի համար, հաշվիչ՝ հաշվապահի համար»:

Ծնողները կարող են նաև որոշ առարկաներ դիտմամբ հեռու կամ մոտ դնել երեխային: Այսպիսի արարողություններից մեկի ժամանակ, որը վերջերս իրականացավ, «երեխայի հայրը շերեփը նրանից մի փոքր ավելի հեռու դրեց, որպեսզի փոքրիկ աղջնակը այն չվերցնի և հետագայում տնային տնտեսուհի չդառնա»,- ասում է պրոֆեսոր Անտոնյանը:

Ծիսակատարությունը ի սկզբանե հիմնվել է ատամի և հացահատիկի կապի վրա, որից էլ առաջացել է դրա անվանումը:

Այն սկսվում է երեխայի շուրջ բազմատեսակ հատիկեղեն լցնելով: Հիմնականում, բայց ոչ միշտ, երեխայի գլուխը պաշտպանում են կտորով, ձեռքերով կամ անգամ անձրևանոցով, որպեսզի հատիկները չվնասեն նրան:

Այս հատիկներով երեխային «ողողում են»՝ դրանով համոզվելով, որ նա հետագայում առողջ ու զույգ թվով ատամներ կունենա:

Այն կարող է նաև բերրիության խորհրդանիշ հանդիսանալ՝ կապվելով այն ավանդույթի հետ, ըստ որի՝ հարսանիքների ժամանակ զույգերի վրա բրինձ են լցնում: Սա նշել է Երևանի մշակութամարդաբան Լևոն Աբրահամյանը:

Այսօր արարողության անբաժանելի մաս են կազմում ատամի տեսքով տորթերը, խաղալիքները, գունավոր կոնֆետները և փուչիկները:

Այս ավանդույթի մասին 19-րդ դարի հիշատակություններում նշվում է, որ երեխայի առջև միայն երկու առարկաներ էին դրվում: Դրանք ոչ թե ապագա մասնագիտությունը կռահելու, այլ ընտանիքում հաջորդ ծնվող երեխայի սեռը պարզելու համար էին. եթե երեխան դանակ էր վերցնում, ապա եղբայր էր ունենալու, իսկ եթե սանր (կամ հայելի) էր վերցնում, ապա քույրիկ էր ունենալու:

«Ապագա մասնագիտության կանխատեսումն առաջացել է ավելի ուշ՝ սովետական հասարակության շրջանում», - հայտնում է պրոֆեսոր Անտոնյանը,- «երբ երեխայի մասնագիտությունը սկսեց մեծապես ազդել նրա կյանքի և ապագայի վրա»»:
