ԱՄՆ-ն 2017-ին 50 հազար փախստական կընդունի, հայտնել է ԱՄՆ վարչակազմի բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչը։
«Փախստականների ընդունելության ծրագրի վերականգնումից հետո 2017 ֆինանսական տարում ԱՄՆ-ն կընդունի առավելագույնը 50 հազար փախստականների»,- ասել է նա։
Ներգաղթի մասին Դոնալդ Թրամփի նոր հրամանագիրը ուժի մեջ կմտնի մարտի 16-ին ու 90 օրով կդադարեցնի ԱՄՆ մուտքը վեց երկրների քաղաքացիների համար՝ Իրանի, Եմենի, Լիբիայի, Սիրիայի, Սոմալիի, Սուդանի, բայց Իրաքը, ի տարբերություն նախորդ հրամանագրի, ցանկում ներառված է։
Արգելքը չի անդրադառնա նրանց վրա, ովքեր արդեն ունեն գործող վիզա, կամ էլ ԱՄՆ-ում բնակության թույլատվություն, որը տրամադրվել է մինչեւ հունվարի 27-ը ։ Նաեւ հրամանագիրը 120 օրով դադարեցնում է փախստականների ընդունելության ծրագիրը, չնայած չի անդրադառնա այն փախստականների վրա, ում մուտքը ԱՄՆ արդեն հաստատված է։
