Bloomberg գործակալությունն իր կայքում հրապարակել Է մոլորակի ամենահարուստ մարդկանց թոփ-500-ը: Վարկանիշը գլխավորել Է Microsoft-ի հիմնադիր Բիլ Գեյթսը (85,6 մլրդ դոլար), երկրորդ տեղում Է ամերիկացի բիզնեսմեն Ուորեն Բաֆեթը (78,9 մլրդ դոլար), երրորդում՝ Amazon-ի ղեկավար Ջեֆ Բեզոսը (73,5 մլրդ), տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Բացի այդ, առաջին տասնյակում հայտնվել են Inditex ընկերության հիմնադիր Ամանսիո Օրտեգան (69,3 մլրդ), Facebook-ի հիմնադիր Մարկ Ցուկերբերգը (59,1 մլրդ), մեքսիկացի բիզնեսմեն Կառլոս Սլիմը (53 մլրդ), Koch Industries կորպորացիայի համահիմնադիրներ Չառլզ եւ Դեւիդ Քոխ եղբայրները (48,1-ական մլրդ), Oracle կորպորացիայի տնօրենների խորհրդի նախագահ Լարի Էլիսոնը (45 մլրդ), ինչպես նաեւ IKEA-ի հիմնադիր Ինգվար Քամփրադը (42,9 մլրդ):

Փետրվարի 1-ին հաղորդվել Էր, որ 2017 թվականի սկզբից ի վեր ռուսաստանցի միլիարդատերերի միագումար կարողությունը, ըստ Bloomberg Billionaires Index-ի (BBI) տվյալների, ավելացել Է 7,9 մլրդ դոլարով: Վարկանիշի առաջատարն Է դարձել «Ռուսալ» ընկերության նախագահ Օլեգ Դերիպասկան, որի կապիտալը 2017 թվականի առաջին ամսվա ընթացքում ավելացել Է 1,7 մլրդ դոլարով՝ հասնելով 7,8 մլրդ դոլարի:
