Հետազոտություն. ձու օգտագործելը հիշողության հետ որևէ խնդիրներ չի առաջացնում

Մարդիկ երբեման ձուն բացառում են իրենց սննդակարգից, մտածելով, որ այն ունի մի շարք բացասական հատկություններ, որոնցից է նաև հիշողության կուրուստը:
Սակայն վերջերս University of Eastern Finland–ի գիտնականները երկարատև ուսումնասիորթյուններից հետո եկան այն եզրահանգման, որ ձվի մեջ առկա մեծ քանակությամբ խոլեստերին օգտագործելը չի հանգեցնում հիշողության հետ խնդիրների եւ չի նպաստում այնպիսի հիվանդությունների, ինչպիսին է Ալցհեյմերի հիվանդությունը։
Նրանք Արյան մեջ խոլեստերինի բարձր մակարդակը կապում են սրտանոթային հիվանդությունների եւ հիշողության խանգարման մեծ ռիսկի հետ։
Սակայն առողջ մարդկանց մեծամասնության մոտ սննդի մեջ առկա խոլեստերինն օգտագործելը չի ազդում արյան մեջ դրա մակարդակի վրա, հենց այդ պատճառով շատ մասնագետներ այսօր այլեւս խորհուրդ չեն տալիս սահմանափակել սննդի մեջ խոլեստերին պարունակող մթերքների օգտագործումը։
Գիտնականները հետազոտության ընթացքում փորձաքնության են ենթարկել 42-60 տարեկան 2497 տղամարդկանց տվյալները, որոնք 32.5 տոկոս այդ գենի կրողներ են եղել։
Հաջորդ 22 տարիների ընթացքում հետազոտության 337 մասնակիցների մոտ հայտնաբերվել են հիշողության խանգարումներ, 266-ի մոտ՝ Ալցհեյմերի հիվանդություն։ Այդուհանդերձ այդ հիվանդությունների եւ սննդի նախապատվության միջեւ գիտնականները որևէ կապ չեն հայտնաբերել։
Ձու ուտող տղամարդիկ հիշողության խանգարումների հետ բախվում են նույնքան հաճախ, որքան չօգտագործողները։ Ձուն նույնիսկ հակառակ ազդեցություն կարող է ունենալ. որոշ դեպքերում ձու օգտագործելը բարելավել է տղամարդկանց ճանաչողական ունակությունները։
