 «Լավագույն ուսանող» մրցույթի հաղթողների պարգևատրման արարողությունը տեղի ունեցավ մարտի 3-ին Մխիթար Հերացու անվան պետական բժշկական համալսարանում։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ համալսարանի ռեկտոր Արմեն Մուրադյանն իր խոսքում նշեց, որ յուրաքանչյուր ԲՈւՀ-ի հաջողության առանցքում ուսանողն է։ 

«Ուսանողը շարժիչ ուժն է, գիտելիքների, արհեստավարժության, նաև հասարակական կեցվածքի, ԲՈւՀ-ի շունչն է։ Սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ բոլոր այն ուսանողներին, ովքեր այսօր արժանացել են այս բարձր՝ «Լավագույն ուսանող» պարգևին։ Թող իրենց հաջողությունների շնորհիվ մեր երկրի սահմաններից դուրս կարողանան ներկայացնել Հայաստանը»,- ընդգծեց Մուրադյանը և մրցանակները հանձնելու համար հրավիրեց ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանին։  

ԿԳ նախարարը նկատեց, որ նման հանդիսությունը առիթ է, որպեսզի խոսվի հանրապետության կրթական համակարգում եղած ձեռքբերումներից, առկա իրավիճակից։ 
«Շնորհավորում եմ մեր ուսանողներին, ովքեր ՀՀ տարբեր համալսարաններում սովորելով, ստանում են ոչ միայն անհրաժեշտ մասնագիտական կրթություն, այլ նաև ստանում Հայաստանի բարձրագույն ուսումնական հաստատության վկայական»,- նշեց նախարարը, ում խորին համոզմամբ ցանկացած երկրի կրթական համակարգը ապահովում է տվյալ տեսակի շարունակական զարգացումը։ 

Յուրաքանչյուր տարի անց է կացվում մրցույթ՝ ներբուհական և հանրապետական (միջբուհական) փուլերով, բակալավրի և մագիստրոսի կրթական ծրագրերով։ 
Մրցույթն անց է կացվում ըստ հետևյալ ոլորտների՝ բնագիտական (այդ թվում՝ մաթեմատիկական-տեղեկատվական և հաղորդակցման տեխնոլոգիաներ), բժշկություն, հումանիտար գիտություններ, հասարակագիտություն, ճարտարագիտություն, հայագիտություն, մշակույթ-սպորտ։ 

Ներբուհական փուլն անցկացվում է բուհերում, որի արդյունքում ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարություն են ներկայացվում մրցույթի առաջին փուլի բակալավրի և մագիստրոսի կրթական ծրագրով և ըստ ոլորտների մեկական հաղթողների փաստաթղթերը։ Մրցույթի հաղթողները որոշվում են հավաքած առավելագույն միավորների քանակի հիման վրա, որտեղ հաշվի է առնվում ներկայացված թեկնածուի ուսման առաջադիմությունը, գիտական աշխատանքներ կատարելու ունակությունը։ 

2016 թվականի երկրորդ՝ հանրապետական փուլի արդյունքներով մրցույթում հաղթող է ճանաչվել 37 ուսանող՝ ըստ կրթական աստիճանների։ 

Մրցույթի հաղթողները պարգևատրվեցին հավաստագրերով և ՀՀ պետական բյուջեով նախատեսված ֆինանսական միջոցների հաշվին ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարի սահմանած մեկանգամյա անվանական կրթաթոշակներով՝ 1-ին տեղ՝450.000, 2-րդ տեղ՝ 300.000 և 3-րդ տեղ՝ 204.500 դրամ։
