Վերջին օրերին  արցախա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտ զորքերի շփման գծում լարվածությունը կարծես թե գնալով աճում է: Ապրիլյան դեպքերից հետո իր լարվածությամբ սա թվով 2-րդն էր: Շատերը դա կապում են Մեհրիբան Ալիևայի` Ադրբեջանի փոխնախագահի պաշտոնում նշանակվելու հետ` պատճառաբանելով, որ այս քայլով Ալիևը հերթական անգամ ուզում է շեղել ժողովրդական ցասման ալիքը և այն ուղղել հայերի դեմ։

Պայծառատես Կարեն Ափոյանը կանխատեսել էր ռազմական նմանօրինակ գործողությունների վերսկսման վտանգը.

«Ես դեռ տարեսկզբին, երբ սահմանում ամեն ինչ հանգիստ էր, նշել էի, որ պատերազմական լայնամասշտաբ գործողություններ վերսկսելու վտանգը շատ մեծ է: Ես կանխատեսել էի այն ամենը, ինչ հիմա լինում է: Ապրիլյան սցենարի կրկնության հնարավորությունը մեծ  է, չնայած պետք է նշեմ, որ այս անգամ, ավելի փոքր մասշտաբի կլինի,  որովհետև անընդհատ սադրիչ գործողություններ են լինելու. մեկը` մարտի կեսերից է սկսվելու, մյուսը` աշնան կողմ եմ տեսնում: Կրկին ծանր հրետանիներ  են օգտագործվելու, զոհեր էլ կլինեն, բայց եթե մերոնց թույլ տան, որ իրենք կարողանան ճիշտ ժամանակին հակահարված տան, մենք կորուստներ չենք ունենալու այնպես, ինչպես նախորդ անգամ: Բաներ կան, որոնք, սակայն, մեզանից կախված չեն»:

Էքստրասենսը վստահ է, որ այս ամենում իր ներդրումն ունեն նաև Հայաստանի ներքին կյանքում տեղի ունեցող փոփոխությունները.

«Հայաստանի ներքին կյանքում տեղի ունեցող փոփոխություններից թշնամին ամեն անգամ օգտվում է, այդ ձևով ` նրանք ուժեղացնում են արտաքին լարվածությունը: Մենք չպետք է թերագնահատենք մեր թշնամուն: Ներքին լարվածությունը, սակայն, բախումների առիթ չի հանդիսանա, սակայն գնում է գեղեցիկ թատրոն, խաղ, որի մասնակիցները հասնելու են իրենց նպատակին»:

Զրույցի վերջում Կարենը կիսվեց իր կանխատեսումներով, թե որքան դեռ կշարունակվի սահմանին տիրող լարված իրավիճակը. 

«Ես կանխազգում եմ, որ լարված վիճակը դեռ երկար է տևելու:Մենք պետք է պատրաստ լինենք էլ ավելի լարված իրադրությունների, ինչը կարելի է հաղթահարել միասնական լինելով»:
