Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցության կենտրոնական շտաբը մարտի 2-ին հյուրընկալել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպան պարոն Ռիչարդ Միլսին:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին կուսակցությունից, ՀՀԿ կողմից հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը, ՀՀԿ Գործադիր մարմնի անդամներ Սամվել Նիկոյանը, Գագիկ Մինասյանը և Ռուբեն Թադևոսյանը:

Ողջունելով հյուրերին ՀՀԿ կենտրոնակայանում, Ս.Նիկոյանը շեշտեց . «Նախ թույլ տվեք շնորհակալություն հայտնել ամերիկյան ժողովրդին և կառավարությանը Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարական ինստիտոտների հետրողական զարգացման և կայացման գործում դրսևորված աջակցության համար: Հատկապես՝ նոր Ընտրական Օրենսգրքին համապատասխան գալիք խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների առավել պատշաճ և լիարժեք կազմակերպման համար»:

Ինչպես նշեց Ա.Աշոտյանը. «Հանրապետականը խիստ կարևորում է ընտրությունների օրինական ընթացքը՝ բոլոր քաղաքացիների համար ազատ կամաարտահայտման նպաստավոր պայմանների ստեղծումը, ընտրությունների մրցակցային բնույթը և արդարությունը: Որպես իշխանական ուժ, մենք արժևորում ենք ոչ միայն արդյունքը, այլև ընտրական գործընթացների որակը: Ժողովրդավարությունը մեր երկրի ռազմավարական խորությունն է և պետականության ներուժը ապահովող կարևորագույն գործոններից մեկը: Մեր միջազգային գործընկերներից ակնկալում ենք անկողմնակալ և հավասար վերաբերմունք գործընթաց ի մասնակից բոլոր ուժերի նկատմամբ»:

«Ուրախությամբ սկսում եմ հանդիպումների շարքը քաղաքական կուսակցությունների ու դաշինքների հետ, որոնք առաջադրված են առաջիկա խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում: Այս ընտրությունները Հայաստանի խաղաղ ապագայի և ժողովրդավար ու բարեկեցիկ Հայաստանի շարունակական զարգացման համարառանցքային են: Միջազգային հանրությունը, այդ թվում՝ Միացյալ Նահանգների կառավարությունը համակ ուշադրությամբ հետևում են ընտրությունների անցկացմանը՝ այն ինչ տեղի կունենա տեղամասերում քվեարկության օրը, և այն ինչ կլինի տեղամասերից դուրս ու մինչ քվեարկությունը: Ես խրա խուսում եմ բոլոր մասնակից ուժերին վարել լուրջ ու խնդիրներին միտված ընտրարշավ. Հայաստանում ժողովուրդն արժանի է դրան», - իր խոսքում ընգծեց դեսպան Ռ.Միլսը:

Կողմերը քննարկեցին նաև գալիք ընտրություններին նախապատրաստան ընթացքը, քարոզարշավի կազմակերպման առանձնահատկությունները, մի շարք այլ հարցեր:
